Do not take your loved ones to the Gain Clinic. Their agenda is to collect information and pull your license. They do not provide help or resources for seniors. The level of insensitivity that Lindsay one of the nurses there showed my Father was so upsetting to our family. Lindsay, I hope that the world shows you more kindness and respect in your senior years than what you showed to my Dad.
There a lady working there she should be fired her name is Renee she the most rude person l ever met in my life. A senior with cancer she will not change her pick up place.And the lady couldn't make back to the pick up place and her answer was to bad. Make someday she will be in the same situation as this lady. Remember Renee what you put out will eventually come back to you
Unfortunately not community care. Is there consistency in services provided to all clients? How would someone know they need to be a client? Where are services for seniors, or mobility requirements, rural independent living ? What Kawartha needs is a service with caring people to distribute help and information and accessible services. Deceiving name.
Seems next to impossible to submit ticks for testing through any kind of health unit organization and even if you actually manage to jump through all the hoops to do it, seems like it would be counter intuitive to actually bother with. The form for submitting is a joke and is completely worthless. No wonder there is no real tangible data on ticks and Lyme in Ontario. Seems like there isn't actually any point in submitting ticks for testing. I have two Eastern Black-legged Tick Ixodes scapularis in my fridge right now if ya'll want them for testing. I would absolutely love to know if they have Lyme or not. Coming from a fish and wildlife technician scientist. Ya'll need to be doing better with this.
Useless and not worth the time. Called to schedule a ride turned me down all because I'm not 65+. How discriminating.
Dr Hutchinson is the best doctor I've ever had, she don't mess around and I am thankful she's my doctor.
