The atmosphere is artful and intentional, cozy and alluring, with boatloads of character. The menu is a work of genius, the cocktails reflecting a deep passion for the mystical alchemy of altering taste bud reality through mixology. I'd buy every drink on the menu, twice. They even have an entire page for non-alcoholic drinks, which is a true sign of mastering the science. This place is a one of a kind destination!
I don't have cocktails very often, so I can't pretend to be an expert, but this place was fun. I particularly enjoyed my Tracksuit Pirates drink which was very fun, served in a glass shaped like a fish. The tropical escape from the cold and snow outside was welcome indeed.
Extremely crowded and dynamic cocktail house for 20-30yos in the heart of Glen Ellyn. The quality of the drinks explains the crowd. The menu is well themed with something for everyone and very knowledgeable servers to help you make a choice if you're not sure what to get. Almost every drink we've had here has been fantastic and unique. Of the 3 times I've been here, 2 of them have been way too crowded for my taste, but that just means they're doing good business and people love the drinks. The late night food bites are a bit meh and overpriced for what they are, but it's about the drinks, and they nail those. Highly recommend for a loud partying night in the burbs.
Finally made it here with some Glen Ellyn locals. Cocktails were fantastic as expected and service was spot on also not a surprise. Chad owner has probably forgotten more about cocktails than most of us will ever learn. Do yourself and your drinking companions a favor and get to Common Good ASAP. Will visit again.
Stunningly delicious cocktails, with simple visuals and clean finishes. Arrive by 5pm or don’t expect to get a seat; this place FILLS UP. No reservations allowed. Incredible staff, fantastic mixologists. It’s a must for any cocktail enthusiast in the area.
Best cocktail house in the area by far! Every time I have been here has been an incredible experience with incredible staff! The staff is always so helpful guiding you through the menu and finding a drink that is perfect for you, really you can't go wrong with any drink here. The atmosphere is unmatched to any other cocktail bar/house, do not wait any longer to enjoy this place!
My wife and I love going here. The cocktails are creative and delicious! Having gone to many cocktail focused bars in the city, this one is still by far our favorite. The atmosphere is light and fun. This place is #1 on our list of places to take visitors.
Highly recommend this cocktail house, the service was excellent, the staff were very knowledgeable about the drinks they were serving and made excellent suggestions. The owners were around and made the experience very delightful. The bartender custom made me a drink based on my preferences. It was a smaller bar but the atmosphere was fun. Prices were reasonable given the drinks they made.
Tried this place for the first time based on a recommendation from a friend. The drinks were very interesting and tasty. Not too busy for a Monday night but a steady flow of people meeting up. Everything is good until you get the check and find out that they are charging customers an employee health 4% tax and wait an insurance surcharge 9.75% tax = 13.75% on EVERY BILL. This is crazy what's next workmen's comp tax. Unfortunately I was turned off by this and will not be returning nor recommending.
Love this place. So cozy. Talked to one of the owners at length. Super friendly and informative. Wish I had this place within walking distance so I could go every day and explore all the different cocktails! Definitely will go back
