My child is now in third grade, so I think my opinion is valid. In first grade, the list of required school supplies was absurd. We were asked to buy many notebooks, but half of them were unused – maybe two pages were written in some. The following year, these same types of notebooks were no longer needed, making the purchase completely unnecessary.nnDuring the same year, our assigned school bus stop was placed 300 meters from our house. Imagine walking that distance in winter conditions with a six-year-old. We had to send several emails and insist relentlessly that the station be moved closer to our house. One of our neighbors is now facing the exact same problem. Maybe he hasn't sent enough emails because his situation hasn't changed since last year. I had the impression that the school prioritized the comfort of the driver over the well-being of the children.nnNow, in third grade, the weight of the supplies my child has to carry daily is outrageous. Adding the library books he has to bring in once a week only makes things worse. No eight-year-old should have to carry such a heavy load. Plus, the 1.5-inch binder used to organize drums and duets feels like a brick in your backpack. It is clear that no one thinks about the health and comfort of children.
I am asking for information about my child. Arrived on the scene, 3 different ladies communicated with me, but I still cannot speak to Madame Dion who is the senior Director.. A week later a lady contacted me privately telling me that she needed more information , but at the end of the day I no longer had the right to my information, she told me that the file is with the CIUSS.... DO YOU HAVE MONETARY compensation to prevent us from giving us the required information....
What disorganization!!! Two weeks before the start of the school year, we still don't have the textbooks to buy, having to find ourselves on the account statement that we haven't received even though the promised transmission date has passed. They take parents hostage through their lack of efficiency and rigor.nnWe still don't know if school transportation will be carried out two weeks before the start of the school year!!nnSo disappointed!!! It begins badly!
Remove dinner service, disrespect siblings at the DVN school and send kindergarten children to other schools, triple daycare fees....seriously, you are asking parents to have a plan B....but we have had plans E and F for 4 years DVN because the cssmi is so poorly managed. Stop holding parents hostage! That's enough!
As a former student of the Deux-Montagnes high school, the school board does not focus in any way on the students. During ministerial exams, everyone is placed in a class which is around 30°C. While just a little further away, where there is management, their air conditioning works when they want it. The physical education lockers are so old that even with a padlock someone could open them. There are far too few toilets for the students and then they are blamed when they need to go during a lesson.
