Coming from the States this is without a doubt the most amazing comic book / collectible store I have ever been in. lets start with that the store was closed for the holiday but because they were there working they very kindly let us in and took time away from their work to ensure we had a more than favorable experience. The store has 4 large rooms not including the room with the counter and cash register. The rooms are broken into different areas and each one was explained to us in detail. they have an enormous collection that could be easily considered to be extremely overwhelming, that is if it were not for the owners and staff taking the time to take us through their store and explain what can be found in each room and how they are all organized. Realizing that we were coming from the states they were also kind in explaining how their pricing works with regards to the US Dollar. We were there for about an hour maybe a bit longer but to be honest I could easily spend an entire day or more here looking through each room in fine detail. Marc in particular was very gracious with his time stopping to check in to see if we had any questions, including those about how he sources his inventory (something most store owners would not share) or if we needed any assistance in finding something. I will with out a doubt be back time and time again. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING find.

They have a lots of comics, if they don't have they will find it for you and they have the cutest employee and the owner is super cool!

What can I say about this place? Except that it's totally the best place to find comics in Montreal! They have everything you could ever imagine in here for a newbie (Like I was) or a seasoned pro. The staff at the Comic Hunter store is AMAZING! I've had the pleasure of working with Marc on each of my visits and that guy is genuinely awesome. He greeted me (along with every other customer) and made you feel welcome right away. He helped steer me in the right direction for what I was looking for and I ended up walking out of the store with an armful of great reads. And as today, he still surprime me at each visit with some rare or unusual find related to my personal collection and interests. If you give him a hunt mission, you'll be surprise and amaze like I am Thanks a all the team

I've been to comic book stores across Canada and the USA and Comic Hunter Montreal is one of the best. Marc is amazing and the store selection is second-to-none. If you are travelling to Montreal, take the time to make it to Comic Hunter to peruse their 300,000 back issues. It'll be worth your while.

Best comic book store in Montreal on my opinion. A lot of new comics and back issues. Plus, everyone who work there is awesome.
