What a wonderful time! Rooms are spacious and accurate for pictures. Our AC wasn’t working, and the maintenance person was no longer available; but we were graciously offered a change of rooms, along with an apology. Coffee and water with citrus were available 24/7; breakfast was plentiful and varied. The pool and hot tub were big and clean. It was an ideal visit!
This hotel falls short compared to other options in the area and is in need of a comprehensive renovation. The overall condition of the property feels outdated, with cleanliness being a significant concern. The bathroom, despite its size, featured a small corner shower that was inadequate and visibly unclean, with noticeable soap scum, grime, and mold. The carpet appeared dirty, prompting me to wear slippers at all times, and the mattress had visible stains that were quite off-putting.nnThe pool and hot tub were also in poor condition. Both appeared dirty, and several doors were being propped open with towels, which raised safety and sanitation concerns. Additionally, only half of the jets in the hot tub were functional.nnIn terms of service, the male front desk staff members were friendly and welcoming, but the two female staff members were noticeably unfriendly and had unprofessional attitudes, which detracted from the overall experience.nnOn the bright side, the alcohol you could purchase from the front desk at the hotel was both affordable and delicious—however, it's worth noting that sales stop promptly at 10:30 PM. This hotel does not have a bar.
Good prices. Clean hotel. Rooms are nice and clean but things are falling apart. Asked for new room when arrived because it smelled like a 70s party. Was going to open windows and just air it out but windows didn't work. Next room Smelled much better but windows didn't work either. The fireplace they have in common area does not work or they said they didn't know how to operate it. Pool table is falling apart. Though they did re-felt it since our last stay. But didn't have pool cues to use. Went and bought one to use I guess the price reflects the maintenance needs here. Breakfast is standard hotel breakfast. Waffles, toast, eggs and sausage.... If your looking for a cheap but nice place and don't care about the other stuff this is the place for you. Lots of food and shops close by.
Was transferred to this location due to another hotel having bedbugs and being fully booked. Arrived late at night and was able to get quickly checked in. Both locations indicated that we would not be charged additionally as we had already paid for the entirety of our stay.nnRoom was spacious, but a little dated. The mini fridge was not functional, some of the cabinets/baseboards were not well affixed as though they had been previously broken. The bedding and most of the towels had stains, along with the mattress itself. Overall the space was comfortable enough to sleep in for the remaining visit.nnThe real issue came at check out, neither the previous hotel nor this one had apparently made record that we were transferred and not supposed to be charged and an additional charge for over double the original room's cost was put on our account. I was unable to get ahold of a manager to sort the situation out. I was eventually able to get in contact with the original front desk staff from both hotels for the transfer after almost a week who then were able to assist with reversing the charge.nnOverall the experience was very frustrating and took away from what was supposed to be a nice weekend trip.
A bit dated, fridge didn't work and hallways were a bit noisy. Other than that, the room was clean and spacious, beds comfy and check in was fast and easy. Breakfast was decent and all the employees were very friendly
