Comfort Inn & Suites

We had a great visit here. Staff were friendly and helpful. I prefer a room without carpet, but that is my only complaint about the room. I thought it was a bit closer to La Mauricie, but it is approx 30 min away. Overall all good stay.

This Comfort Inn is a lovely spot to stay and relax. We were at the Comfort Inn on July 26th and 27th as my husband's family were celebrating his Mother's 97th birthday. This hotel is very clean and the Manager,Robert, was very meticulous and organized in his management of the hotel and its' staff. Our room was spotless and we really enjoyed the family atmosphere. This hotel welcomes cyclists so don't be surprised to see several bicycles grouped together to stay at this establishment. They even have a sign posted outside to indicate that they are part of the Cyclists' Association. There is a lovely spot behind the hotel that overlooks the water and it is wonderful to view the sunset. They provide a nice healthy breakfast. The WiFi is great and the Air Conditioning works well on those hot days. Great spot to stay if you are enroute to another location further north in Quebec.

Awesome room, clean and neat. Really good breakfast and good staff. Decent place to rest as we were on our way to north Quebec from Guelph, Ontario.

The room had lots of natural light and was very clean. I found the service friendly and helpful. We even got a lunch recommendation from the front desk staff!nnWas my first time in Shawi. I'll definitely be back.

This has been our go to hotel for over a decade in Shawinigan, QC. Although it’s a pretty old property, they have maintained it well - the carpet in some rooms may need to be replaced but other than that, it’s a pretty good property that offers good value for money overall.
