Staff were excellent and helpful when storm stayed. Its not a 4 star resort. It is clean. Breakfast was good enough. It's a place to hang your hat for a short time
Really easy place to stay. Check in and out were friendly and efficient. Near both downtown and the beach. Clean and modern BUT lacking enough outlets beside the bed. Outlets on BOTH sides of a king bed are required these days. Everything else about the room was perfect.nBreakfast was average for this chain. Could not find a breakfast room attendant when we needed one. Coffee was really good!
Easy to find location, not too terribly far from Goderich beach.nCheck in was friendly and staff for all very nice.nWe liked our room,nComfortable bed, lots of lights and electrical outlets. Plenty of hot water for tub / shower.nCoffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, TV was easy to use, internet was fast.nBreakfast in the morning was great, had omelettes and sausages and fried potatoes, yogurt, fruit, waffles, hot and cold cereal, bread products etc.nCoffee, tea, juice, hot chocolate...nThe only problem was that the serving tray for the hot food is dangerous.nThe counter is very smooth, the serving tray feet are within an inch or so of the edge of the counter, and when you open or close the lid, the entire metal serving tray slides, I saw several people almost have the whole thing fall off the counter as they were opening or closing the lid, while we were having breakfast.
Fantastic hotel - super clean, new, great location and the staff are so nice! Special shoutout to Meghan at the front desk - she went above and beyond to help me out and it was so appreciated!!
Great staff. Craig at the front desk was very helpful. The room was clean and larger than expected king bed with pullout.nnThe morning breakfast included waffles, eggs, sausages, bread selection, juice and coffee. Perfect way to start the day.nnOne very small thing- the pool doesn't open until 10am 1 hr before checkout. With kids, it would be nice if opened earlier to get in a swim.nnOverall, we will be back!
