We had an awesome stay. A small bit of confusion on check in but it got straightened out quickly. The rooms are very clean and everything we needed. We brought our dog and had a main floor room with a balcony to a grassy area which was absolutely perfect. Our car parking was right outside the door. The continental breakfast was beautiful. All you could want was available. From eggs and sausage to cereal and muffins even make your own waffles. We are vegan and were able to have oatmeal. The only thing I would enjoy is a milk alternative but I went n bought dairy free creamer and kept it in my room. Overall a very pleasant stay and I will most definitely return. My daughter lives in Amherst and I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a room.
Do not stay here. Service was incredibly bad. The room was decrepit and grimy. The halls stank. Also, it was very noisy with semi trucks coming and going at all hours in their parking lot. Super 8 by Wyndham is closer to the highway, much newer, has several floors WITH an elevator, and prices are comparable. Do yourselves a favor and stay there . . . or anywhere but Comfort Inn in town. And don't be deceived by the photos, the building is derelict.
Lovely hotel and great staff. However the room 119 was flea infested. Our dogs are treated with Bravecto and we have had no issues with fleas at home yet we saw two fleas on our dog at the hotel and we saw a flea on the bed cover. And the day after returning from the hotel me and my son are covered in flea bites.nWould advise against using any products for kids in the bath as we let our kids have a bath with a Crayola bath bomb that turned the water pink, the package advised it was washable so we were not too concerned that the washcloths turned pink, yet the hotel manager kindly emailed to inform me I will be charged $30 for these two facecloths so that turned out to be a very expensive bath. Now that the room has cost me 260 bucks plus a bunch of flea bites I won't be returning.
We’ve enjoyed our stay during the storm. Easy check in and check out. Good pricing and nice experience with Front desk guy Bharat. I would never think twice staying in Amherst Comfort Inn.
Rooms were clean, staff were helpful and kind, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good. I had a good sleep
