Colleen’s Cafe is a charming little spot that feels like a hidden gem the moment you arrive. One of the first things you notice is the convenience—there’s plenty of parking, and the café is easily accessible, which makes it a stress-free choice whether you’re stopping in quickly or planning a longer visit.nnInside, the atmosphere really stands out. The retro theme is done right, with license plates, vintage car pieces, and truck memorabilia covering the walls. It gives the place a unique personality and makes it especially appealing for anyone who appreciates classic automotive culture. It’s not just décor—it creates an experience that sets it apart from typical cafés.nnThe food delivers exactly what you’d hope for from a diner-style café. The menu is straightforward and satisfying, with hearty, well-prepared dishes that hit the mark every time. Portions are solid, flavors are consistent, and the prices remain reasonable, making it easy to come back regularly without hesitation.nnService is another highlight. The staff are consistently courteous, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. Whether you’re visiting with coworkers for a casual work gathering or enjoying a quiet meal with family, the environment feels comfortable and accommodating.nnOverall, Colleen’s Cafe is a reliable and enjoyable place to eat. Between the distinctive retro vibe, good food, fair pricing, and friendly service, it’s a spot that’s easy to recommend and worth returning to again and again.
I went to Colleen’s Café when I found out that Nola West was closed. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed having lunch there. Even with the establishment’s small space, I still got a table when I arrived.nnI ordered their Ginger Beef with some coffee. The breaded beef was amazing; it was crunchy, savoury and very piquant, thanks to the ginger sauce that came with the dish. The vegetables were fresh and not overcooked at the slightest. The Rice was fantastic; not too chewy and had a nice subtle taste on their own. The coffee was pretty good too.nnThe service from the staff was great, I like their enthusiasm and how dedicated they were to providing me with a great restaurant experience. The establishment itself is just so captivating to look at from the inside. It is like Ronny’s Bistro or the Corner Nook in Chilliwack, where the walls are completely covered with antiques, license plates and memorabilia portraits. Even their washroom is decorated all over.nnI highly recommend you stop by Colleen’s Café whenever you are taking the alternate route to Langley or Surrey. You will enjoy what they have to offer.
The food is good but the service and atmosphere is five star all the way. It was our first time here and it felt like everyone else in the place it was full! had been going there for years. Almost everyone was greeted by name. Big lunch/all-day breakfast menu of typical cafe/diner fare, all at good prices. Extra points for the fun bathroom. If you want the feel of a small-town cafe in the city, this is the place.
Lovely hidden jem. Good price, big portion, everything yummy. My favorite was the soup and spicy pork rice. The front lady was very kind. I'd recommend for big breakfast, brunch or lunch.
Wow! What a fun little place, so much to take in!! 1000s of collectibles everywhere! Service was lovely, family run and they all work seamlessly together. Very kind and sincere. They know their regulars drinks and orders. Food was great, crispy chicken burger and cheddar burger were huge and top notch. Fresh cut fries too! Smaller restaurant but feels cozy. Auto gratuity of 15% is added to your bill, which is too bad because I would have tipped 20% definitely will be back either way!
