Very disappointing experience following the passage of the TCF.nI was greeted by a very welcoming lady, the first speaking test went very well, with a very professional and kind lady. However, the lady who gave us the rest of the tests was really rude and haughty.nWe were warned that the test would last from 8:35 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. In the end, it was not specified that the oral expression lasted an hour and that there were 5 people to pass. So for my part, 2 hours to wait with this famous lady who came to check on us because if we had the misfortune of being on our phone to pass the time, watch out for us!nIt seriously bothered us to know that the test costs $400 for such an atmosphere!nnThe places are frankly not very worthy of a good school either.nnIn summary it helps when we need it but I will not put my children in this school.
The school is more expensive than most good private schools in Quebec, the classes are busier and as a result, the monitoring is not up to the costs paid. The facilities are aging.nThere is no food education as a result your child finds himself with children who eat very poorly at snacks and at midday comes home not understanding that you are not giving him candies or very sugary cakes every day where Quebec private schools prohibit cakes and sweets at snacks.nThere is only one sports class per week VS 2 in most Quebec schools.nYou literally have to fight to get a place in day camp because there are too few for the number of children to look after and, as the vacation cycles are based on France and not Quebec, it is impossible to have children looked after outside of Stan.nWe find quite a few of the faults of the French school. I had the impression that my daughter was in a French public school except that it cost $8,000 per year, childcare included.nI see the difference this year with a good Quebec private school which costs me less and whose educational quality, the offer of extracurricular activities and the quality of the facilities are much higher.nThe value for money is extremely disappointing.
Excellent school, with a teaching team that listens to students and parents.
A more than disappointing experience.nnI would like to share my disappointing experience with École Stanislas. My son attended this school, but unfortunately our experience was far from positive.nnFirst of all, the school made a serious accusation by claiming that my son was autistic, without any professional advice to support this claim. This situation was not only alarming, but also extremely irresponsible on the part of the establishment. Medical diagnoses should be made by qualified professionals, and this school has overstepped its bounds by making such claims without any solid basis.nnFurthermore, instead of offering the necessary support to my son who had difficulty in French, École Stanislas chose to push him out. Instead of providing the help and guidance he needed, they excluded him, causing him considerable emotional and educational harm.nnI am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism and empathy of the Stanislas School. Quality education involves not only academic teaching, but also respect for each child as a unique individual, with their own needs and challenges. This school has failed miserably to uphold these fundamental principles.nnI absolutely do not recommend École Stanislas to anyone looking for a caring and respectful educational environment for their child. It is essential to choose a school that values each student and provides the support necessary to enable them to thrive. Unfortunately, École Stanislas did not meet these expectations and caused unnecessary harm to my son.nn**IN ENGLISH**nnAn Extremely Disappointing ExperiencennI want to share my disappointing experience with Stanislas School. Unfortunately for me, I spent my tcf with themnThe person with whom I took the oral exam was very professional and very kind unlike the person who was in the room for the other 3 tests.nShe put me in a session where the sound was completely lousy and even refused to let me plug in my headphones because a friend confirmed to me that the sound can be mediocre in certain sessions.nI passed it in February and the room was full. I only heard the noises of people from their winter minds and the click of the mouse from the girl who was right next door with the helmet so the helmet is so weak that I hear everything except that of the test.nI heard almost nothing about the test and especially since we don't have a way to listen to the questions again or anything else, I even lost my concentration because of the conditions of taking the test.nNormally when preparing I only had c2 or c1 in CO and CE and with these conditions I only had b2 and low in CO.nI regret having taken the tcf with them now I have to pay almost $500 CAD to retake the test.
