I am a final-year student in programming and data analysis. The curriculum is very good and I highly recommend it. It includes a COOP internship at the end of the program, and there are many excellent professors.nnToday, I attended the bus tour of Montreal organized by Adib, with participation from Mohammad from the student association, and it was great. It was a very interesting and enriching activity. Highly recommended; it's a great way to start the semester.
Studying here has been a fantastic experience! The faculty does an excellent job of sharing their knowledge and supporting students whenever needed. A special mention goes to Professor Anthony Mitropoulos from the Advertising and Promotion course—he is truly the best teacher! His engaging teaching style and the energy he brings to every class make learning exciting and keep you wanting to learn more. Highly recommend!
I had very low expectations when enrolling here, fully aware that this college isn’t known for its tech programs. However, the short commute, smaller classes, and subsidized tuition made it seem like a reasonable, low-pressure starting point in my field. I couldn’t have been more wrong.nnFrom the administration to most of the instructors, the incompetence is staggering. The administration is disorganized and unhelpful, while many instructors are disengaged, rarely providing feedback on assignments or even bother checking them. Some clearly struggled with teaching in English, which added to the frustration of trying to learn. Classrooms felt more like a formality than an actual educational environment, with instructors being pushovers and little effort made to ensure quality teaching.nnI echo the sentiments of other 1 star reviews here. I dropped out after one semester, unwilling to waste more time on a program that offers so little value. If you’re considering this college, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
Update: I recently met with the director at LaSalle College, and I’m happy to share that all the issues have been resolved. He took the time to understand my situation and helped me get the subject I needed. I also realized that there was a message I had mistakenly overlooked, which could have made the process easier. I appreciate the support in resolving this matter.nnLasalle College has been an absolute nightmare when it comes to international student support and scheduling. Despite paying full tuition, they refuse to accommodate students fairly, causing unnecessary delays and extra costs.nnI was misled multiple times about my course options, and when I tried to get answers, my emails and messages were ignored. My coordinator, completely ignored my long message, even though I was pouring my heart out, asking for help. She saw my message but chose not to reply. When I went to the college in person to see her, the receptionist forcefully asked me to leave instead of letting me speak to her. This is completely unacceptable.nnThe worst part? They are deliberately keeping one subject for the extended semester along with my internship, which forces me to pay full tuition fees of $6,200 instead of just $700-$1,000 for only the internship. This is nothing but a money-making scheme, and they are playing games with students' futures just to take more money from us.nnMeanwhile, I know other students in the exact same situation who were given exceptions, but I was denied for no valid reason. The administration is unhelpful, and when they do respond, they blame students instead of fixing their disorganized system.nnBecause of their greed and poor scheduling, I now have to extend my study permit, which means even more expenses and stress that could have been avoided. This college claims to support international students, but in reality, they only care about taking more money from us.nnIf you're considering studying here, be prepared for constant frustration, unfair treatment, and an administration that doesn’t care about you at all. I deeply regret choosing this college, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before enrolling.
I want to thank to LaSalle College for this amazing Bus Tour, It gave me a good introduction about Montreal and I also shared it with some new friends.
