Hello! I am currently a student studying in game development. For one of my courses which I needed to do some sort of volunteer work. Originally i had difficulty finding one that was available with my schedule. Then Emile trottier dufour who is someone that i know due to the fact that I participate in the clubs at school. Helped me out by offering to let me do some volunteer work at school! So i helped out with the kiosques ,clubs and surveys. Yesterday I had the chance to attend the Montreal Canadians game do to Emile and Adib organizing this outing. I wanted to thank you and appreciate the joy you bring to students and how you make our school a brighter and fun place. Thank you
The NY TRIP :nIt was so awesome to be in a country where you can be with your friends. I enjoyed a lot and it would be amazing to have this kind of experience again. Also a big thank you to Emile and Vickie for this experience.
I completed the AEC in Business Management program between 2023 and 2024, and my experience was far below expectations.nFrom day one, it was evident that students in AEC programs — especially international students — were not treated as a priority. Communication was inconsistent, support was minimal, and getting help with academic or administrative matters often required persistent follow-ups with little result.nnDespite the high tuition fees, the program lacked organization and felt disconnected from the realities of those trying to study and build a life in a new country. Many instructors seemed indifferent, and the atmosphere in class was often unwelcoming, with little cultural sensitivity.nnThe attention and care given to other programs, like DEC or Fashion, was clearly not extended to AEC students. This created a sense of exclusion and reinforced the impression that our presence was valued mainly for financial reasons. This review reflects not only my personal experience, but also that of several classmates who went through similar situations.nnUpdate: Shortly after posting this review, I was contacted through private professional platforms by individuals linked to the institution. This direct outreach, without prior consent, further confirmed the lack of boundaries and the college’s focus on reputation over real dialogue with students.nnBased on all of this, I would not recommend this college.
I won't recommend this school to anyone, and I will continue to complain. I still have a course to graduate from. This course is very difficult. In August 2024, I asked the coordinator and was told that the failed course could be retake. The coordinator immediately sent me a contract and told me that I could take the fall course. I signed a contract, but due to the lack of documents, it can only be postponed. During this period, I tried my best to cooperate with the school to apply with the Immigration Bureau. The Immigration Bureau is too slow, but I have to wait. During this period, the coordinator sent me a contract for the second time, saying that I could attend in winter. I agreed and signed it. However, due to the second request of the Immigration Bureau to make up the materials, I can only wait for the final result. The Immigration Bureau told me that I only needed to supplement the latest registration letter and admission certificate to get my documents. My waiting was promising. When I took the letter to the coordinator, the nightmare began. I was deceived and insulted. I was rejected for no reason. She refused to let me re-register and open any certificate. This was a complete It's a complete scam. She is playing games with my future. She refused to show the documents required by the Immigration Bureau. She didn't let me retake. When I went to the coordinator, she forced me to leave. This was an unfair treatment. I can't accept it at all. If it was explained at the beginning that it could not be re-retake, why did you let me register twice and say Obviously, I can re-study. Why did I wait until my caq was approved to be told that I can't re-study? This is a fraud. It's very bad. I only have one class left to graduate. I regret choosing this university very much. It wasted my money and time for so many years. I won't recommend anyone to come to this school if things can't be solved. I will complain on various platforms. This is a fraud. It insults students as a tool. After spending so much money, I received such unfair treatment. The coordinator forcibly refused my admission and forced me to sign a contract to cancel it. The terrible teacher and the lying coordinator
College LaSalle recently gave me and other students interested in quantum computing the amazing opportunity to visit the IBM and C2MI facilities in Bromont. It was a super insightful trip where we got to meet and learn from professionals at IBM and C2MI, all just for being students at LaSalle. I’m really grateful for the experience and appreciate the college for making it happen! Was a nice way to wind down after midterms teehee
