Story

Le Colisée de Laval est le plus grand aréna de Laval. Il fut construit par les Frères maristes en 1954 dans le quartier Saint-Vincent-de-Paul près du Collège Laval.Des salles de réception sont disponibles pour accueillir plus d'une centaine de personnes, avec un service complet de restauration. Chaque année le club de Patinage artistique de Laval et les Lames d'Argent présentent une revue sur glace.HistoireDepuis son ouverture en 1954, le Colisée avait accueilli trois équipes de la Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec : le National, les Voisins et le Titan. L'amphithéâtre a déjà accueilli le tournoi de la Coupe Memorial en 1994. À la suite du départ du Titan pour poursuivre ses activités à Bathurst, l'aréna a ensuite hébergé le club senior semi-professionnel, les Chiefs de Laval. En raison des nombreuses bagarres qui se sont déroulées sur la patinoire pendant leurs matchs joués à domicile, le Colisée a été surnommé la « Maison de la Douleur »,.Le 25 novembre 2013 les Braves de Valleyfield déménagent au Colisée de Laval et deviennent les Braves de Laval. L'équipe dispute son premier match à domicile le 6 décembre.Événements importants 1994 : Tournoi de la Coupe Memorial

Sad to see an historical building being neglected. Very dirty, garbages everywhere, changing rooms to be repainted and toilets to be redone. Very sad that the owners don't take pride in this building.
Cool place but it's falling apart and I didn't feel 100% safe in there. But like I said it's a cool place!
Plenty parking spaces, very old building, horrible benches for players and high boards. Inadequate penalty box size. Great staff but no services available for skate sharpening.ice is descent but very cold
Was there for a dance recital. There was a reserved room. Nicely set up and a fun evening was had by all. We even wandered off to the skating rink and got to watch some hockey.
Awesome place for rocket hockey. Never been to a show but must be great as you see well from everywhere and the sound system seems great.
Spectacular. It's hard to describe the beauty of this old building. Go see it before enough softies complain and get a new taxpayer-funded rink.
Good hockey arena, only drawback is heating not very strong so dress warmly

Nice place for Cosom hockey on second floor gym.
Out dated, not clean at all, but hey, it is ice time when there is none anywhere else...
