The staff is always nice. I'm not a coffee drinker and I never feel dumb asking questions about beverage choices. The reason I don't/won't give this place a 5 is that it is SO LOUD, it's really difficult to talk to someone (for work meetings) or think if you're by yourself. I understand it's a "factory" but the background noise is always very distracting to me.

Great coffee shop. Stumbled upon by random excursion. But coffee was awesome, food was delicious, and even bought a t-shirt. Worth a visit

Great strong coffee! A bit pricey but very nice place and friendly staff. Fun to watch them roast the coffee beans right there.

I recently moved to LA and I miss this place so bad. I came back for my friend's wedding and immediately went to get a coffee. Unpretentious, delicious, and inexpensive. Open a California branch!!
