The clinic is spotless and very welcoming! I saw Dr. Jordan Bonang after feeling like my previous dentist was taking shortcuts. I felt my concerns were heard and I left feeling confident that my teeth were being being thoroughly examined. I can’t say enough good things about my experience!
I have a fear of the dentist , Dr.Jordan did absolutely amazing making me feel comfortable and relaxed during the whole time I was there. He will be the reason I continue to go back. The patience and and kindness from him and his assistant did not go unappreciated.
After years of dental issues, and some pretty shady dental work. I have been in pain extremely bad pain, to the point I debate gouging my own teeth out I met with Dr. Jordan today, and although I didn't get the immediate relief I was hoping for, I leave this appointment In tears, not all bad tears, tears of pain obviously, but tears because Dr.jordan was so unbelievably compassionate, sincere, and didn't judge me even for a second. This touched my heart like no other. He was honest with me, didn't put his own benefit before mine, and genuinely made a plan for me to not only help the current issue, but to help long term with all the other work I need to have done. And this I've been waiting for, for so long I can't eve explain. Thank you Dr.jordan you have no idea how much your genuine compassion means to me.
In 2020 I've had four appointments at Cole Harbour Dental Centre with Dr. Emily Bonang, and my experience has been very positive. I visited the dental centre with an idea in mind of what dental procedure I wanted done, and Dr. Emily Bonang was able to recommend an alternate procedure that ended up saving me money, was less invasive, and was effective. I really liked that Dr. Emily Bonang explained the work she was doing a lot more clearly and thoroughly than other dentists I had been to in the past.
I had originally been going to Bonang for my dental needs and have almost always had an issue. His reception continuously argues with you over payment methods, bookings, as well as emergency check ups. I've had fillings from Bonang that wouldn't last and had recently ended up with an abscess due to one of them falling out and not being replaced properly. When I went in to see him he refused to do any work on the affected tooth and tried urging me to get a root canal. When I stated I couldn't afford it and just wanted it extracted he ended the appointment, just like that. Now I'm having issues again due to his incompetence to listen to his patients and he still won't do anything.
Dr. Comeau and staff are fantastic! Caring and compassionate with gear service. They were able to get my mother in for an emergency appointment after she fell and broke several teeth. Dr. Comeau made her comfortable, assessed the situation and put together a practical plan to get her as good as new. Highly recommended
Doctor Jeff Bonang is probably one of the worst dentists I’ve seen. His work never hold, he’ll do anything for an extra dollar out of your insurance company! He had filled one of my wisdom teeth big no no in the dental world. My new dentist was absolutely disgusted by the work he had done to my teeth. The other staff and hygienists are amazing and very friendly professional. Jeff Bonangs wife is much better please avoid Jeff
I moved to NS 2 years ago and picked Dr. Jeff Bonang because he was close to my home. I picked the right dentist. He saved my life by noticing a scar in my mouth that he didn't like, even after me explaining to him that it was simply my tongue rubbing against my teeth and causing a scar. He sent me to the oral surgeon, and it ended up being early cancer. If he hadn't picked up on it and got me seen by the professionals I needed to be seen by, got the cancer removed promptly, I might have not lived that long as the cancer would have spread and turned into a later stage cancer. Thank you with all my heart, Dr. Jeff Bonang. I will forever be grateful for your knowledge, skills, and for pretty much saving my life.
Dealing with hundreds of dollars in fees due to the incompetence of their staff. Fillings don't hold, so have you have to keep coming back, and theyre not attentive enough to file the work through insurance properly, meaning its out of pocket for you. Honestly im in the position where i think theyre trying to destroy the tooth in question so we have to look at an implant. simple, small cavity. Dr cant even keep straight where it is should they not have pictures? especially if this is the 2nd time in the last 3 weeks hes done it and the filling is already worn down and likely going fall out. so were looking at round 3. good luck to those who let these guys be responsible for your dental health
I would rate this dental center 0 if I could. I went here for severe tooth pain. They took an x-ray and said there was trauma to my tooth. Their solution was to tell me not to chew on that side of my mouth and gave me toothpaste. Of course the pain persisted and I was seen by them a couple more times. Each time ended with them treating me as if my pain was in my own mind. Finally, I gave up and went on with my life living in constant pain. The pain got so bad I decided to give another dentist a try. They worked diligently into figuring out what was causing my discomfort which didn't take them long to solve. Turns out my tooth had a severe fracture which because it wasn't treated when I went into Cole Harbour Dental it developed an abscess under my tooth. This lead to me having to have emergency oral surgery to have the abscess and tooth removed. I dont recommend this Dental center. Please, save your teeth and self from pain... go somewhere else.
