Upon entering and having the Karen at the door. Throwing a mask ate and I'm refusing to wear it as I'm an asthmatic and the federal government lifted mask mandates. She began to make a scene when I turned my back to her because it's a policy. First off policy's don't over throw laws. Second off your actions with screaming were unprofessional and uncalled for. Then to top it off the 5 hour waiting period in ER. Could have drove to Bonneville got treated and been home before finished at cold lake hospital. 6
Very dirty hospital, takes MONTHS to see a DR. Wait times are extremely long, and when you get to actually make an appointment you have to wait HOURS anyways. Doctors/surgeons don't want to do their jobs. Do not waste your time and risk your health at coldlake hospital.
had appointment for blood work, waited 30 min everyone who came in after me was seen and with more coming in gave up waiting. why make someone have an appt if it is pointless?
I went on Mothers day -Sunday around 7pm . There was no others waiting in Emerg- Honestly I was in a lot of pain, the nurses were very nice to me and understood I wasn't feel good. I was put into a room quickly Mind you I do understand its not always the case and it does get busy . I just want to say thank you the nurses who helped me exp the Triage nurse . I know its a hard time* its not always easy we are all human but I just wanted to say thank you for doing your job & coming in everyday or night! . The DR was good and did his job. Thanks again!
We moved to Cold Lake 18 months ago. We were living in a much larger city, with lots more health care options! So, yes we have had to adjust some of our expectations. We have had to come to the emergency department for after hour care. Our experience has been very positive. The person who greeted us was very kind and extremely helpful. The medical staff have been great. Yes, it does take time, especially when emergency is busy, to deal with our issues; but, we have been attended to with grace, kindness and professionalism!! High marks Cold Lake Healthcare Centre!
This is the worst place to go if you are indigenous. They treat you like absolute garbage and assume you are there just for medication. We have waited numerous hours while the doctor and nurses sat around. We have mentioned that the pain was at a 10 yet nothing. they DO NOT care!! unbelievable
I went to the emergency room after injuring my hand and the nurses were super kind and explained everything really well. The wait was a little long but it wasn’t too bad
Walk-in clinic works only by phone wich is fine but everytime you call them there is a 5 min wait and then they hang out you. I've been trying to reach them for the pas 30 minutes without succes. Sincerely not impress
Came here for a CT scan from a distance away from Cold Lake. The people were friendly efficient and on time. Thank you for the exemplary care and kindness.
I find the staff, nurse's and doctors to be very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. However, the front desk receptionist are always super rude. You can't ask them any questions whatsoever, even non-medical questions without them cutting you off and getting all snippy. I understand that hospital staff is going through a lot right now, but I always try to be as polite as possible and I still receive terrible attitude from the front desk ladies. Roll eyes, rudeness, condescending attitude. Not sure what the problem is with them...
