I purchased a recliner loveseat, and mentioned to the salesman I did not want a leather that could peel. The salesman said it was gel leather and I asked if that was real leather because I hate couches that peel. He said it was. I bought it and it peeled shortly after, and within a couple of months it peeled and the recliner wouldn't close on one side, so it was unusable. Now the other side doesn't close either. So now I have a fully non-reclining recliner that peels. **Update. I had actually contacted Cohen's a couple of months after I bought it via FB, and did not follow up with store when no one commented because I didn't expect resolution after 30 days had passed. I was surprised that resolution was an option with furniture anyway, and that they offered a number to call in this reply. I called the number and left a voicemail, and they called my husband back and basically it changed nothing, so not sure what the point of asking to call was. Either way, the review was to make aware that a loveseat they are selling for over a $1000 I was fortunate enough to get clearance for $400 will not last even a few months currently at 1 year and now all parts not working and to make aware the salesman either is unknowledgeable of gel leather and guessed and gave wrong info, or gave wrong info to make the sale. Something to keep in mind when spending so much money. Because the product is not worth the $400 I paid, let alone $1-1500 if you buy reg price.
Great visit to Cohen's today. Staff super friendly and helpful. Fantastic selection of furniture and they had in stock exactly what I was looking for. Would recommend and will shop again.
There was quite a large amount of furniture on display, and we we're in the store less than a minute when we were greeted and asked if we needed some help. We made a.purchase there, and even got the stove we .we're looking for at a discount price.
Was told our couch set will be here within 4 to 6 weeks. Waited and waited finally after 14.5 weeks the couches are in. Definitely don't recommend buying from this company if you need them in a timely manner. Absolutely ridiculous
Husband and I went on the hunt for a new fridge today. Knowing there could be a delay since covid. Cohen's is not the place to go. There was a few other groups browsing when we went in. A lady walked by and said someone would be with us shortly. The wait was at least 15 minutes. Keep in mind only one group had a consultant with them When we finally got some help the guy seemed impatient from the start and kept saying we're not going to find what I'm looking for. Needless to say we wasted our time listening to him tell us "what we need" and coming back to items that I clearly stated I did not like color or style wise. We left with him saying, no matter where you go you won't find what I'm looking for with all my "needs". Guess what, found it at Home Depot and paid in full, will be here within 3 weeks.
Nice people. Had to cancel a order because of delays. They immediately cancelled the order upon request. I was given absolutely no grief whatsoever
Beware of Cohens. Purchased all new Samsung appliances with a 4 year warranty. Dishwasher broke after 2 years. Cohens service guys came in and says he will order the parts but he already knows I will be told parts are on back order but meanwhile they are not available. Over 3 months now waiting on Cohens to do something and still nothing other than they call once a month and say parts are on back order. I asked how long they are planning to play this game as this is the third time they have called and was told there is nothing they can do about it until parts are available. I figured it is a new model that they still sell to this day so it makes no sense. I calls another appliance repair company to come in and look at the dishwasher. I am told parts are not available to repair these, they go to the junk yard when anything goes wrong. They stopped servicing these years ago because of they cannot get the parts. So, I purchased thousands of dollars of new appliances based on Cohens recommendations, Cohens should know that the items are unserviceable if they talk to their service technicians, they make some extra cash off of a warranty that cannot be honored and then it appears, they just ride out their time with a once a month phone call until they can walk away when the warranty expires. Getting ripped off from some guy buying a used appliance online is one thing but it is a total different story when it happens from a large store front business that just took thousands from you and then they have the gumption to remind you of it regularly with advertising flyers showing up in your mailbox. I highly recommend shopping for appliances elsewhere.
Very knowledgeable about there products especially mattresses. Go meet Glendon he will take good care of you.
Paid almost $5,000 for a KitchenAid refrigerator in 2017 that has been a nightmare since the manufacturer’s warranty expired. Relying the Extended warranty to fix the fridge, but, in the latest round, it hasn’t worked since the first week of November 2020. The manufacturer should provide tech support, but the whole process has included many repair person visits and replaced parts, and we still can’t turn on the fridge because the noise is deafening and warning chimes go off every 15 mins. Terrible process and told I’m just going to have to wait because the warranty person and the repair person both have health issues and, even their own employees need repairs that they can’t get. I’ll never buy KitchenAid / whirlpool products and so upset with trying to support a local business.
