Charming little place with great food and cozy sitting area. You have to wear a mask when you first enter but can take it off when you sit down. Food came quickly and tasted delicious.
Great food, nice atmosphere. Made reservation by answering machine they had it take set up when we got there. Nice place will definitely go there again
Outstanding experience, outstanding food, outstanding staff. Even with an incredibly busy restaurant, they were able to serve great food in a timely manner. I don't know how they manage, but they sure do. For sure one of the best burgers I've ever had. We'll be coming back soon
Good atmosphere and friendly staff but dinner took over an hour to arrive at our table wings, curry dish, and stir fry. The waitress apologized but said their takeout was busy so our dinner took a while. Might be better to prioritize those who are at the restaurant. Food was good except for the pre-peeled mini carrots that were included with the stir fry and curry dishes.
Awesome place. I had run out of fuel in my snowmobile and owners went way over and above to help me out!!! Thank you so much. Food and service fantastic too.
Rude and always too busy to even order take out from them. Never heard of being "fully booked" for take out as a restaurant. We have called in several different times on different dates and that has been the answer every time. Don't waste your time calling them, they are rude on the phone as well. Easier and better experience just going to one of the much friendlier Bancroft restaurants instead. You would think a small town business like that would be screaming for any business right now...
It's been about 2/3 years since I've been, so I'm sure things have changed a little. However; I only have really exceptional fond memories of this place. The food is always hot, fresh, and super tasty, the atmosphere is so quirky and warm and inviting, the staff are funny and helpful, this is all around an amazing place. I'm not sure if they still have it, but if you like space/heat, ask for the DNA hot sauce... You will not be disappointed, my friends.
Nice food, friendly staff, good portions and good selection of beer.. The town is also cute. Make reservations as the place is small and there are not many nice restaurancs in the area. June 2020 update: Terrace is open, same great experience. Support local businesses!
My mom, boyfriend and I attended Hideaway while on vacation in Coe Hill area . My boyfriend had the seafood chowder and said it was the best he's ever had. Mom and I had the fish and chips, also really tasty. Our server was fine, could have been more attentive, but other than that it was all good. I see a few sour reviews on here, but we really enjoyed ourselves.
This place is absolutely amazing! Phenomenal food, amazing staff, beautiful location. Definitely recommend it! Washrooms are kind of off! Have a seat guys! The window is in an odd location to the patio tables though!
