The people of Cocoa Tree are incredibly kind. The chocolates are made and packaged with care. These chocolates are delicious and I would highly recommend Cocoa Tree Confectionery to others looking for a sweet treat from a great company. Looking forward to having more in the future!
I cannot overstate how amazing this little shop is. The owner and staff are just lovely people that enjoy what they are doing and the joy just permeates the space. I have a dairy protein allergy, I've had my whole life. So eating fine high quality chocolate has been a rarity for most of my life. The owner of this shop at the request of my mother and mother-in-law did a custom box of 30 truffles all vegan!!! for my birthday in February. It took me until the middle of April to eat them all. They were so delicious and so rich in flavor that I could rarely eat more than two at any one time. oh did I mention they now have gelato AND dairy-free, sorbet?! I'm going to have to start riding my bike so I don't gain all the pounds from eating all of the delicious treats! Even if you are nowhere near Mequon it is well worth the trip.
Didn't know this place existed, don't come to Mequon much. Came solely because we saw the commentary from owner? on FB that made us giggle more than I'd like to admit. Got a 4 pack of chocolates just to sample. Delicious. A+. Child wanted "chocolate ice cream" so got her a small bowl of chocolate gelato. It was finished in it's entirety on the 15 minute car ride home. The mango sorbet was amazing & tasted fresh. 100% will be back, especially to purchase some for chocolate for holiday gifts.
I absolutely ADORE this space! Zoe was the wonderful person who helped me. She has so much knowledge on the chocolates and gelatos. I also rather enjoyed hearing more about the business as it is Indian American owned and she is a HUGE community supporter. The business often gives away goodies to first responders and workers in the area especially on extremely hot days. This business is also a big supporter of mothers, children, and women. Sending a BIG thank you out to this wonderful business for coming to the Milwaukee area. We needed you!
They captured my attention with the gelato sign. They didn’t have limoncello but the pink grapefruit gelato was tangy and caught the attention of my tastebuds. I was offered a sample and chose the white chocolate key lime. High quality. I live business owners who follow their heart and tastes and offer unique flavors. Nice variety of chocolates and gelatos. I’ll follow on FB to see what is new.
Beautiful chocolates that actually taste good! You can see and taste the quality and technique that goes into each piece. There are no corners cut. Hands down the most innovative flavors executed flawlessly.
Two words - lime sorbet! Homemade, so creamy and tangy, no ice crystals and not too sweet. I have a lot of food allergies, the owner was patient and answered all my questions. Highly recommend a visit to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Excellent experience. The owner was there, she was super nice. I was able to try gelato, chocolate bon bons of several varieties, and some macarons. The macarons were my favorite of everything. The bon bons were little works of art they look amazing. My favorite flavors of bon bons were caramel and mint. The gelato was better than a lot I've had in the US. Overall, I highly recommend this for sweets. There is ample parking. Support a local business!
Staff was friendly and very helpful. I’ve tried the gelato, bon bons, and chocolate bark - ALL were amazing!!
I recently had to put my beloved dog down. A dear friend gave me a gift of truffles They were literally a taste of art! Thank you for lifting my spirits!
