Coco Deep Fried Chicken

Decided to try this place because I'm a serious fried chicken fan. Ordered a the three piece meal with fries and soy garlic dipping sauce. *****Service gets five stars *****Hot fresh fries get five stars *****Coleslaw creamy with a touch of sweet gets 5 stars ***Fried chicken gets three stars Two of my three pieces of chicken were hot and juicy and had good crispiness drumstick and wing but the centre breast piece was a bit dry. Overall my main criticism is that the chicken didn't have much flavour. I expected to taste the herbs and spices, but it was a bit bland. Without the very tasty dipping sauce the chicken was underwhelming. How does the chicken stack up against other places I've tried in the Edmonton area?: #1 Mary Brown's chicken and taters are fabulous #2 Swiss Chalet when they have fried chicken available #3 Coco Deef Fried Chicken its good, with quality sides, but a bit bland without the dipping sauce #4Jolibee salty, but crispy and juicy; it's ok #5 Churches Chicken kind of plain tasting, sides are meh #6 KFC ok if served fresh, but that's rarely the case #7 Popeyes not very good I will give Coco another try when I'm in the area.

I love the fried chicken here! At my last visit, the staff took my order quickly and I didn't have to wait long for it to be ready. This is consistent with previous visits too. The sauce flavours are delicious, I especially like the garlic soy, and the chicken is juicy and tender with a delicious crunchy coating. It's not close to me so I don't have it often, but when I'm in the area I definitely stop by. I was just there recently and nothing has changed

We absolutely love their unforgettable chicken! It was so crispy and juicy and the flavour was great! We quite had a feast since me and my friend were so hungry before coming here. You would definitely satisfy your chicken cravings here. The staff were super friendly and they were quick in getting our orders. I like their chicken so much, coco deep has then become one of my favorite chicken places. Vegetarian options: You can order salads here. Kid-friendliness: The children can like the place too. Parking: The parking can be quite easy. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs could fit inside.

The chicken from here is delicious. The down sides are : majority of chicken pieces are drums & wings 9/12 pieces , large fries is small. It’s comparable to everyone else’s medium at best. And last, they want you to order through their own App which is a pain to use. You have to wait for a code to be text to you to finish your order. There is also a user fee. The service from the store is good. Waiting time is appropriate for fresh chicken. Ample parking.

Been ordering at the Northside location since 2017 and only today was a disappointing one. Ordered 6 pcs soy garlic, yes the chicken pieces were bigger but maaaaaan they’re bland. The batter seems so thick too. Ordered another 4 LARGE PCS of sweet and spicy only to come home w a 2oz sauce on the side that can barely cover a piece of chicken. Called them and lady said nothing changed, but being a regular customer here I know, cause before I’m always satisfied. Today I fed my meal to my dog.

I love their chicken. Crispy in the outside and very moist in the inside. Chicken has always been my comfort food, and they did satisfy my craving. Best of all, they serve rice :- Parking won't be a problem. Maybe it needs work on the interior design of the place to make it more appealing and inviting to eat. A personal favourite is the Snow Cheese and Honey Buttered Chicken. Staffs of the restaurant are very accommodating. Two thumbs up.

Ordered the 7 pieces of chicken half and half but only got 6. I have zero respect for restaurants who cheat out their customers specially a first time customer. Very over priced for 6 pieces of chicken. I paid just less than $33 with delivery fees and a very generous. The chicken didn’t even taste good. I’m extremely disappointed. I will never order from this place again.

Wow, impressed!! First time customer, this place serves up the tastiest, fresh, crispy delicious chicken!! Fast, hot & reasonably priced for everything they serve. Well worth the money spent!!

Second time here at Coco, I made it my mission to try every flavour on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Highly recommend the Snow Cheese!

The hostess was very kind.. the food was great . I felt really welcome.. this is the type of business i support.. I am coming back.. the chicken is way better then KFC's, where their chicken KFC'S tastes old or fishy.. this chicken here at Coco's is well done
