Wow! We stopped for some treats on our way to catch the early morning ferry to Madeline Island. I'm a bit of a cupcake addict so we picked up a couple of cupcakes, a slice of peanut butter pie, and some pumpkin bread pudding. All were delicious. Would love to try some of the "real" food when we're in the area again.
Outstanding bakery. Amazing bread pudding and focaccia. Online ordering was convenient. Clean and sanitary conditions.
Discovered this gem this summer on the recommendation of friends while on vacation. Came back 2 days in a row after we tried their Lake Trout Rueben sandwich- to DIE for! Also tried all sorts of bakery items- raspberry cheesecake danish was a hit! Will definitely be back.
Ate lunch here today and it was delicious! It took a couple tries to reach them by phone, but it was worth it. Loved the turkey sandwich with pickled onions and apples and the lake trout reuben. The pumpkin chocolate chip bread pudding was yummy!
This place is amazing! After two disappointing trips to Washburn for a planned kayaking trip, we found this place and stopped for lunch. It was amazing food on even better staff made breads and desserts, including the gluten free!!! I can not recommend this place enough.
Our kids asked us to stop here because our puppy is named Coco, and we are SO glad we did! The Rasberry Cream Danish Muffins were the best we've ever had and the Smoked Trout Wild Rice soup was amazing as well! If you don't like fishy taste though, try something else. Definitely worth a bit of a wait for these treats!
Bakery is great, tons of great pastries, cookies, pies and other awesome desserts. It took forever for a sit down lunch to come out for a large group though. Stick to the baked goods.
