Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. The place was a bit hard to find but it had a nice vibe. Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and a two-piece. The crunch on the fried chicken is insane. There are many crevices and interesting textures that adds onto to the sandwich. The spice level is not bad. The gravy was nice too.
Such a nice hole in the wall. On the outside it’s just a door, which leads into such a nice restaurant! The customer service here is stellar - so stellar that it’s the main reason why I’m leaving a review. The lady and young man were very very kind. I accidentally spilled my drink and was wiping it, they helped me clean it and told me not to worry. Even offered to refill my drink. They were very nice the entire time, I was greeted with a smile and uplifting personalities! Their food I found to be very fresh; I came in during a quiet hour and my food was ready in 5 minutes. The chicken sandwich was what I ordered: very juicy, crispy chicken. Their fries are really good and well seasoned as well. Love this place and their food, I’ll definitely be coming back and showing my partner this amazing food and atmosphere.
This place was slammed during a Thursday lunch rush. They have some kinks to sort out - we waited 20+ minutes for four wings to be fried. I feel like the chicken should be on deck at all times. The $10 sandwich combo is a decent deal for downtown standards. The wings are solid but are elevated with the cocky sauce. My coworkers weren't impressed but I think I'll be back but I'll call ahead this time!
Tried this place for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at how great our experience was! Ordered the spicy wings and was not disappointed by the crisp and size of the wings. The cocky sauce has a hint of Asian influence, spiciness and tangy taste to it. Also must note the cleanliness of the place. Can’t wait to try the crispy chicken and sandwich next time!
I met the owner during my visit, super nice & passionate guy with a vision. The Chirac was very juicy & crispy, and more importantly not greasy as I was told they pressure fry it locking in the moisture. Your order comes with complimentary gravy that has a hint of coconut & herby flavour which I could drink & more importantly was not salty. Most notably, their signature spice rub that they sprinkle on top is house-made & it’s really freaking good. Very reasonably priced meal & the quality was better than well established fried chicken franchises out there. I wish all the best for this business & hopefully they consistently deliver.
The best fried chicken in the city right now! Amazing value for the combo. The fried chicken pieces are huge and very juicy, with the perfect crisp factor. The combo comes with fries, gravy and a drink. If you enjoy spice, the spicy chicken is slightly spicy and offers a mild/moderate amount of spice. To top it off, our cashier was super friendly and provided great service. Definitely will be returning!
Friendly service and the regular chicken and fries taste great. But the main reason we went here was to try the spicy chicken and spicy fries and it really wasn't pleasant to eat. They just take the regular fries and chicken and add what seems like cayenne pepper powder on top after it's already cooked. So it just burns your mouth and throat but there is no real flavor to it.
The entrance is actually up a flight of stairs, first counter you see is a Bubble Tea store on the right and on the left is the entrance. The best spicy chicken sandwich I've ever had and I've had a lot. The sandwich looks mild but it has a nice little kick to it. Price was good too, combo was $9.98. Will be back for sure.Food: 5/5
These wings were so good I devoured them immediately and forgot to take a picture! The skin was perfectly crispy yet the inside was nice and soft. The owner was also very welcoming and gave me these cute and delicious sauces to try for free because I was visiting from America! Will definitely come back for more next time I visit TorontoFood: 5/5
Chicken wings with the cocky sauce is a must try! The wings are actually air fried so the insides are nice and juicy! The outside has a unique crisp: It had the texture of the crispy chicken skin at Popeyes, but it had a lighter pleasant crunch similar to cheetos. And the cocky sauce was like a drug drenched on top. Think spicy mayo, but in more of a creamy vinaigrette consistency. Had a nice kick, but what makes it special are the notes of sesame oil to give it a nutty like flavour pretty sure they don’t use peanut products, otherwise I would’ve had an allergic reaction. Will definitely be returning soon to get some more!
