I am truly beyond impressed by the North Bay COBS Bread! The food and baked goods are delicious - I would highly recommend the scones and the croissants. The prices are quite reasonable when you factor in the freshness, and quality ingredients. But the staff and their commitment to our community is my favourite aspect about this organization. Everyone is incredibly friendly, personable, and seem genuinely happy to be there. Today, a gentleman brightened my day with his humour and then made sure I took advantage of my birthday treat through their rewards program. Additionally, they are constantly giving back to our community by donating to those in need and supporting other local businesses and events. An incredible organization that offers outstanding products while making a huge impact in the North Bay community. Cheers Shawn, Carrie, Derek & the COBS Bread team!
Had the raspberry danish and a blueberry lemon and a pumpkin spice scone. And enjoyed them all, especially the pumpkin spice scone. The selection is small and the prices are high, as others have said, but the food is good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would certainly go again, I can still taste that pumpkin spice scone and the texture was amazing.
Went for the first time on Saturday December 10th. We bought eggnog scones and cinnamon buns. Absolutely delicious. If you haven't tired it, do it. You will be so happy you did. Hubby has already gone back for more cinnamon buns. So glad we have this great bakery in North Bay.
Yummy bread. Definitely recommended. So many to choose from I can't have gluten and I can actually eat few of cobs bread without any issues. That's because it's made with no preservatives or unnecessary additives. Customer for life. I live an hour away and must make this stop every time I am in North Bay!
Send an email yesterday with a special request for pick up today. It was recieved quickly and I was greatest with multiple offerings of gratitude. Little do they realized it was me who was most grateful. My son has specially requested scones for his Poppas funeral. I'm please I was able to fulfill his request. Thanks Again Cobs.
I recently visited my brother and his family and was introduced to COBS when we stopped to get some bread. I had been on a scone-kick the week before and had been so disappointed with the hockey pucks my grocery passed off as scones. Imagine my delight when I saw the scones in the display case at COBS. Huge scones! So many choices. I had to bring home 2 of each - my current faves being the iced pumpkin and the double chocolate. I also had the opportunity to try the baguettes and the farmers bread - both soooo good. When I left north Bay to head home I stopped and loaded up. Imagine my surprise when I was told there was a COBS in my town! As it turns out, right around the corner from me! How did I not know that? No more hockey pucks for scones for me! Ever!
Although limited in their bread selection I find it more than enough for any person/family in North Bay. What is not limited is their sweet and savory selection of other buns, sweets, and baked goods. New items every few weeks and more so on special occasions/holidays. Who needs a read maker!!! they're a thing of the past anyway .
Amazing new bakery in North Bay...the scones are the best I've ever had...texture is more donut like..very moist...not dry and pastey like others I've had...and staff is so nice and helpful...also bought the raisin bread which is incredible as well
We were having dinner and I was like "damn this is a f'n scrumptious bun" and my son said "yeah it f'n is" and I didn't even get mad because the bun was so delicious. Also incredibly friendly staff. You can't go wrong grabbing food at this store.
Great variety, friendly staff, tasty treats and much much more!! Their Scones and Country Grain Loaf are my faves!!
