I always love to go to the beach. It's such a great experience for my young ones. Nice little play structures and the water pad will be an excellent little bonus for the children when it opens up. The kids will love it! I am excited for all the new events coming this summer!
Clean beach. Entrance is free. Parking is either $40 per day or $5/hour no limit. Watch where you are parking, there are some streets reserved for residents only. There are 2 splash pad areas, playgrounds, bathrooms. Water in August has been amazing!
This is a beautiful spot for anyone to enjoy. There is a water park, park, cover picnic area, clean bathroom, restaurants, shopping, some food truck and sightseeing. You can always find a good spot to set up on the sand area. If you're looking to set-up in the shade area, you need to come earlier 9am or earlier. Parking can get expensive, and sometimes you have to park some distance. I would advise dropping off your load and anyone that can't walk far. After four at some spot parking is free. We have been here for July 1st and had a great time. Do remember to bring everything needed, to enjoy the beach and sun. If you stay till about 8pm, you can watch or hear the guy playing the Uilleann Pipes, by the water.
One of the greatest towns in Ontario. It's so beautiful and gorgeous especially in fall season. I am hoping to visit here again in winter. I believe I will enjoy the different scenes from the season to season.
A very nice beach with amazing soft sands and fairly clean waters. Given the size and how busy this beach is, it's kept quite clean. Kudos to the city staff for keeping it this way. Outdoor rinse off area are available by the parking roundabout/entrance to the beach. Would recommend. Excellent place for your summer time . There is lot of things to enjoy …. Beach Valley ball … Camping …. Swimming … Kids can enjoy playing in sand .. Food Truck.. Music… You can easy spend whole day in summer .
The drive from Waterloo took around 2 hours. We took a halt in Toronto. The beach was quite good but not great like the grand bend. It’s calm and very quite place. Not many people around in the town. You just sit and enjoy there with your fam. If you have option to visit grand bend, then don’t go to Cobourg. We have been to grand bend and sauble. Enjoy your weekend!
Beautiful place to visit, but for parking it is difficult to get one near the beach. Excellent place to enjoy the summer, we can play, swin. Cobourg is a small and nice city.
Beautiful Beach just outside of Toronto. It was nice and quiet when I was there and was able to run the dog. Very clean and well kept Beach with very soft sand.
This is a must go to beach with the family or a group of friends. It's beautiful, well kept and the water is wonderful. There are public washrooms on-site. A park and splash pads for littles. There are also food trucks to buy food should you want too. No alcohol is permitted. You must pay for parking either by coin or credit card and display your ticket in you car window.
