This week I had my first experience with the Cobblers Bench. All I can say is I'm absolutely floored at how beautiful my boots turned out! I've had these vintage Fluevogs for a couple years, but haven't worn them because the height of them wasn't flattering on my calf. They were able to cut them down, and add a little to the heel, and now I essentially have the perfect boots! Thanks so much!!

Took a hockey skate in for a repair. Fixed in 4 hours and I was hoping it would be done in 48 hours for his upcoming game. Fast and Friendly service. Worth the drive from Burlington.
Was hoping to have a piece of luggage with water damage repaired re-dyed. Unfriendly gentleman said I should clean it and when I said it had already been cleaned he handed me a black dye. The luggage was dark brown. I pointed this out and he told me it looked black. He had no dark brown dye in the shop. No offer of getting dark brown dye or being willing to do the repair and any other suggestions. Obviously wasn’t interested in my business. A shame since most reviews seem very positive and that is why I visited.
Picked up my boots. Zipper was not repaired I should have tried them on before I left. Very crooked business man.
The cutest sweetest older Italian men. Remind me of my nonno. Did a great job on my belts. They do it all. Would highly recommend!

I attended this store for assistance with a safety feature on our autistic granddaughter’s new life jacket. I brought her more recent life jacket which she outgrew a bit , and asked if they could install same type straps for torso or use recent ones on new youth life jacket which do not have that extra feature for safety , as well as secure new life jacket from rising up even when tied at waist . I was very quickly told there was nothing they could do and that the next business beside there’s in mall which is a seamstress had the machine that could do that job. I went over right away and was greeted by man seamstress and he said he did not have such a machine . He then told me the Shoe repair shop had that machine and could not understand why they would not help us with our life jacket. Other than the fact that my granddaughter 4 year old grew restless and shuffled a few things like a book ect.. on shoe repair counter which I apologized for her , the employee seemed more annoyed at us for disturbing an extended conversation he was having with a leaving customer. I clearly reviewed the posted sign in hallway at the shoe repair store and now , their website , as far as what they do , and can do , in multiple variety of repairs ect .. and am at a complete loss as to what the seamstress employee told us and how we could not obtain any assistance. I would personally not go back there under any circumstances. I do apologize for the mini meltdown of autism as they do have a clear disability and we did wait as long as we could as he clearly seen but he waited till things got out of hand to recognize our presence. In my own opinion and observations.
