Coast Plaza Hotel & Suites

had an issue with my room when I arrived, but staff made it all better and accommodated my needs, friendly helpful staff! and after shift change, I'm happy to report even they call to make sure things are going your way. I enjoyed my stay. the pool was pretty cold, but we warmed up in the hot tub. I'll definitely stay there again.Rooms: 3/5

Very comfortable sleep, gorgeous city view, amazing rooms that were clean and furniture was in excellent condition. Staff were very friendly and check in was quick and easy. I have stayed multiple times including times were there were big local events and I didn't have to wait for check in, but maybe it was because I gave a lot of time prior to the event. Parking was very convenient and I have a full size truck. The lost and found service was great too : My ONLY complaint was that the restaurant was not open past 10 am.

Nice local Hotel. Decent rooms. With Bidet. The only negative is that they charge an outrageous $200 deposit. Never in any of my travels, even with 5 star properties. This needs to be noted when booking. And on the website. Noteworthy details: They charge a $200 deposit.

The staff was friendly to start with and the manager was very prompt on getting back to us with inquiries and special needs we had. The rooms were good, the location is good if you need a place close to downtown. The only thing I was expecting was the parkade to be enclosed but it's open once you get to the top and there is wall cut out windows on each level. It also isn't locked at night. But aside from that we were happy with our stay and would stay here again.

The staff here is amazing. When the chef, housekeepers and servers have been working here for over 30 years, it tells you a lot about how well this hotel is run. I would go no where else when staying in Edmonton. Thank you to the young woman working at the front counter, for running outside in the cold, to give her parking space to my family. I wish I knew your name. Thank you to Krish, you are an amazing manager, even personally delivering a kettle and microwave to our room for us. The service you provide here goes above and beyond.

Great location with clean lobby and rooms. Exceptional customer service all around. Staff member Ionel was one of the most courteous and polite young gentlemen my wife and I have encountered while staying at a motel. Will recommend hotel and will be coming back!Rooms: 5/5

Used to stay here a lot, years ago for work. Nicely renovated since. The bedding was nice. Good mattress, nice pillows. Still enjoying the rosemary soap. Room was clean. Staff were nice. Large flat screen tv. Checked in at 3pm on a hockey game night and was chaotic. Loading zone was full, while the large crowd checked in. Did not keep track of parkade stalls that were occupied, so several cars were driving in the small parkade, looking for spots that were already full. Offer complimentary flavoured water in lobby and hot drinks at check in. Have an added on bidet and flip flops in room. But think I'd trade that for the use of a robe like they used to. Nice stay. Close to Roger's place. Enjoyed it as always.

Staff seems to lack people skills. I ordered dominos because it says on the QR code in my room that it’s room delivery. Nothing is room delivery, you have to leave your room to get food. It’s fine if you’re in the mood for a cheap hotel with staff that doesn’t care. They honestly don’t even trust you to get your own coffee in the morning. The hostess has to give you to go coffee, just Incase you were to steal a bunch of coffee. The hotel itself is nice, just avoid speaking to the staff or expecting them to be kind or accommodating in any way.

Quick check-in despite a crowd at the time. Great downtown location with covered parking. Double queen room was nice, but I would have preferred a kettle and small microwave to the fancy toilet. Rooms: 4/5
