The car wash needs work. There has been no store open in the car wash with an attendant, so nobody seems to be monitoring the place and there is no access to the washroom. The bays are often, if not always, dirty. Sucks washing your car then having to walk through the muck to get back into it. People spend an inordinate amount of time in the bays drying and shining up their vehicles. Sometimes you wait a very long time in the line up outside. Not all bays appear to be operational, and some of the wands and equipment don't work properly. Most Coop car washes are very good, particularly the one in Swan River MB, but this one in Selkirk leaves a lot to be desired.
Today was the second time the wand wash accepted payment, said stop, and charged me a dollar without running. I have payments for what I did use and a payment for the machine just eating money.
Not all bays operational. Also, no active supervision. People come in and do a full wash which is on the clock and they pay but they shut water and then spend 30+ mins drying with rags and pampering their car with various products they brought. Obviously left to their own devices some customers are just going to take advantage of a warm indoor space in winter. There should be some sort of time limit for someone not actually, actively washing their vehicle but using the warm space to do massive detailed vehicle care.
Great fast and friendly service...the attendants alwsys have big smiles...makes me check to see if my zipper is open...
Went and tried buying a pack of smokes tonight. Apparently, they don't sell smokes past 1030pm and I was in there at 10:33 because it gets too busy before close which is at 11pm. Makes zero sense if you ask me.
