Loved the presentation as shown in photos. The grilled pork on E7 was delicious and the spicy beef noodle soup had just the right amount of heat. Tried for the first time the traditional Vietnamese coffee with egg, rich and creamy. Nice decor too.
Great place for vietnamese food. Only complaint is the location and parking. You will find dishes that you won't typically find at most vietnamese restaurants here in Edmonton. They have different specials everyday and thats what I've been trying on my 2 visits here. Overall everything you see that I ordered was pretty good, no complaints. The seafood springroll was a first for me and it was interesting, but not bad at all. For the specials I've tried the Bo ne, banh hoi, and the Sunday special and everything was great. Servers are all nice as well. Only heard about this restaurant recently and will definitely return to try all their specials. I've also seen on their menu that they have specials where you have to reserve 1-2 hours in advance, will definitely give those a try as well.
We heard of this restaurant when they promoted about Chinatown week I think. Their decor was cute and atmosphere cozy however I have to agree with another customer that parking was not great. We ordered their weekend special and bun cha which were so delicious! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of their menu. May return to try other items on the menu.
This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool with decoration from local handmade Vietnam. Food is pretty good with variety choices from Vietnamese food, such as Pho, Bun Bo. Especially I can find out Cafe Trung Egg Coffee which is very special I cannot anywhere else in Edmonton.
Lovely decor, well informed and well trsined staff. Very pleasant dining experience. On Sunday we had the special weekend plate. Well prepared and nicely presented. We had tea and iced vietnamese coffee. Also had the pho. Well seasoned and a nicely balanced soup. Also tried the spring rolls. Found them very tasty and just different filing from the norm. Delicious! I recommend.
Their Bun Bo Hue, Dried Hu Tieu Nam Vang, and Bo Ne are DELICIOUS . If I had more time, I would try the whole menu. The restaurant is clean and neat. The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely will go back and recommend. 100/100.
This is now my top spot for viet food. Food was delicious even presentation was very nice. Food and drinks were served to you on a bamboo tray. Service was very good Everyday they have a differnt specialty item served that day of the week Will be coming back!
My new favorite place for Vietnamese food in the city. Not many other places serve bot chien and so many other dishes unique to this restaurant.Food: 5/5
This place is so good. I would come back for more, especially the coffee. I got a regular pho. They had no problems with me asking for no meatballs, just more rare beef. No upcharge for that swap. It came with a generous amount of basil my fav, a good amount of beansprouts hoisin, and sriracha. It was a perfect amount of food, with a wonderful extremely drinkable broth. My friend got the special pho which is the same brother but it comes with tendon and tripe in addition to the basic meats. They really enjoyed it as well and felt there was a good amount of special meats added. We both got the Vietnamese iced coffee which was a TREAT!! I could have drank 5 of those. I would have except that would probably kill me. It has a bit of waiting for the coffee to brew I to the condensed milk, but then you pour it over the ice yourself and you feel so special and have a fresh drink thats 1000x better then regular iced coffee. 1 star removed for unnecessarily gendered single stall washrooms.
Best broken rice dish ever I've had for a while. Everything came in fresh and tasty, the meat is super flavourful, the thick fish sauce is unique; however, a bit sweet for me. You can tell the amount of care and quality they put into the dish. Would definitely come to the restaurant and try other dishes as well.
