The most beautiful, historic waterway in North America, charming efficient staff which were always helpful and seemed to love their jobs! It was an unforgettable experience!
Cool place with plenty of restaurant nearby, you cannot reallly stop and park your car in the small area however there is the fort Chmably worth to visit nearby with a large lot
Very interesting historic place to visit. The 3 locks were built 1840 to 1842 and opened in 1843. They are still hand operated. Watch the operation in summer time when ships are there.nFree to visit and watch.
Very scenic walking bike path. I have seen people fish off the banks of canal.. .Young kids should be supervised by Adult as there are locks and water in some places my have strong currant..
Rode down to the fort and the lake via the bike path from Montreal. Beautiful ride, great trail and the fort area itself is quite picturesque. Lots of cute cafes and restaurants too. Highly recommended.
