Been there for new year eve. Enjoyed the event. Great experience. Dance floor was good and the audience were friendly. No issues at the club. You have to order food in advance. Drinks are costly but it is new year eve which is understandable. Go early to reserved your seats as it’s first come first serve.
I am extremely disappointed and frankly downright disgusted. A few friends, and I attended the Halloween Event this year to celebrate a milestone birthday. One of our biggest deciding factors to go here was because it was advertised "Comedy show every Saturday night starting at 10pm" So, when we showed up and there was a THIRTY-FIVE DOLLAR PER PERSON cover charge, it made sense as we were getting live entertainment out of the evening. Turns out, there was no Comedy show, and we paid $35 to dance in an outdated club, with terrible sounding speakers. Then when I went to the bar to grab my intoxicated friend some water, I was refused and every bartender told me "we aren't allowed to give away tap water but we can sell you a bottle of water for $6" I was repulsed when the bartenders told me this. Worst club I've ever been to. -100/10 do not recommend. Edit to my review in response to the owners comment. It does not matter how many 5-star reviews you have. Most people who attend clubs are intoxicated before they even arrive. In my case, I had a nice buzz when I arrived and was stone cold sober once I left. Your staff over served my friend and then REFUSED to provide her with TAP water. Her only choice was to pay $6 per bottle of water. This alone is REPULSIVE. You should be ashamed of yourself. Let me reiterate the fact that I was charged $35 per person for 'cover charge' and just in case you've forgotten... you're located in Burlington, not Hollywood. For that kind of price, I'd, at the very least, expect a sound system that didn't sound like a dying animal. My review is accurate, unless of course, you're drunk as a skunk, looking to be over served, listen to a sound system that will give you a headache, looking for a club that hasn't been updated since 1990, be refused tap water AND pay $6 for a bottle of water when over served then 10/10 would recommend.
“Club 54”our go to every weekend! Visited on numerous occasions and felt it now warranted a well deserved review. Great club, fantastic vibe & music inside and out on the large patio too with a various age group making everyone feel welcome regardless of age, single or couples. Comfort, no intimidation. Relaxed dress code whether you want a jean night or dressed up. A mix of all and best part is no judgement. The focus is on having a good time. The owner Gene is exceptionally accommodating and responsive with inquiries and reservations if required, he can often be seen engaging with guests ensuring all is well. A well noted mention to the best security staff Ziggy, Tyler & Ace and our servers Dina and Laura who are all professional and welcoming remembering your name. Never a long wait to get in. We look forward to our weekend dance night meeting new friends and re-connecting with others that we had the opportunity to meet who are repeat guests. Bonus … a bbq sausage on a bun at the end of the night on your way out”
First time last weekend and I really enjoyed the music, friendly staff from the moment you enter. Floors are very slippery so wear comfy shoes. Bathrooms aren’t the cleanest. I would give them less stars but the staff and music at this place makes the experience worth it. The thing I did not enjoy at all, was the smoke machines, very RETRO not in a good way, just awful. Spanish music section again great music but the smoke machine is so much more powerful I guessed due to a smaller room, although the music was excellent hard to stand there for too long. English section it’s more open so at least you can almost forget about the smoke machine for a minute or two.
Dj in Latin dancefloor sucks, he's always playing bachata music, people's dancing different music style and he suddenly play bachata al the time, and he stays with bachata even if people sits with bachata, I guess he just loves it
This place is filled with the most incredible energy! The DJ will have you dancing non stop, the girls have the drinks flowing and theres a generous patio. It’s our Saturday night every weekend for the past 2 years and Sundays on long weekends are amazing!
When considering on going out to dance, club party club 54 must be on your list. Friday's are amazing music mix and are Saturday with 2 rooms. An added bonus is on Saturday you can enjoy comedians prior to dance sets up for great night out
Thank you Club 54 for a great night out! As working professionals with children we were excited to win the free pizza and wing party. We had 25 guests in total attend and we all had a fun night out. From the moment I was contacted the interaction with staff was professional and timely. The staff person was able to answer all the questions we had related to organizing our event. They provided all the information our guests needed. We received the same attention to detail the night of the event as well. All the wait staff were very friendly and quickly brought our beverages out. The greeter at the door was professional and friendly and greeted all our guests warmly. She was even so flexible as to give out the glow necklaces we provided to our guests as they checked in. The comedy act was fun and interactive! The pizza and wings were abundant, well presented and delivered at the perfect time when we needed to refuel from the dancing. Overall a great experience! We look forward to returning soon!
I had an amazing experience with my group of friends we enjoyed a great comedy show and the comedian involved us in the jokes which was fun! The music was great I danced in the cage met the DJ, they have great drinks and amazing staff! We had a bit of an altercation and they didn’t say a word to us they just removed the person who CREATED the problem. Thank god for there understanding as were able to continued to party. One friend dropped her drink by accident right after it was poured and the waiter just poured another drink on the house. All around a great place.
My company and I came here for a work party courtesy of owner Gene. We won a free $500 value party. We had a blast, comedy had us all roaring, great pizza and wings and the dance party afterwords was great! really, really reasonably priced drinks, probably one of the cheapest places for good drinks. We are now regulars!
