This CLSC has changed since the government had implemented its new system in December of 2022. It just goes to show that when their management was left to the CHUS, and the local people that work there, it was horrible! I experienced a lot of neglect and I was constantly refused access to healthcare services as a patient without a doctor. I do believe that employees at this CLSC discriminated against patients of certain demographic backgrounds. Now I see posters there informing patients of their rights to services, along with other rights, which were not present before the government took over with their new system.nnI was sent here by the emergency at the hospital. This time I got to see a doctor. Both the nurse and doctor spoke in English, my preferred language. This was a major change since I had been to this CLSC back in 2021, when I was rudely told by the secretary that all services were in French only. A nurse I saw in 2021 was providing refugees with healthcare services but refused me in seeing a doctor. Luckily the doctor I saw today was professional and polite. It has been years since I have been treated with the respect I was given by this doctor; however, maybe I just got lucky? I would have given this CLSC a higher rating if it weren't for the network cameras in the examination rooms, as well as the lack of cleanliness.nnThere are network cameras in all of the examination rooms! They are located where the examinations take place. They use them to film/record examinations, aka no privacy! I was informed that the cameras were used to educate students but they ask the patients permission if they want to be filmed. I personally don't trust whether these cameras are on or not, from a little green indicator light on the switch. Nor does it feel comfortable that there are cameras there to begin with. The minute there is a camera there is no guarantee of your privacy. Network cameras can be hacked too. It's not legal in other provinces for there to be cameras in exam rooms, whether working or not.nnIn my pictures you can see dust and dirt everywhere. Keep in mind that I went on News Years Day, Sunday. There was no traffic there, thus no excuse why it would be dirty. If there is dust that means that nothing was sanitized. I was also not impressed at the stains on the floor and on the examination privacy certain. It's time to change or wash the curtain. That's disgusting! There is dust and dirt in all of the corners of the floors. The padding of the chair in the examination room is ripped, thus is no longer capable of being sanitized. This would not pass a health inspection. It would definitely not pass a adenosine triphosphate ATP test, a simple test that measures actively growing microorganisms. It's time to spend less money on administration offices and fix up the exam rooms. It's also time to change the broken curtain in the examination room that covers the two-way mirror. It's also time to remove the two-way mirror too.nnI use to manage a maintenance/janitorial company many years ago. One of our clients was a clinic here in Sherbrooke. I can attest that the health standards at this CLSC are NOT acceptable!!! Most commercial kitchens/restaurants could not get away with this level of uncleanliness without being fined.nnIt's too bad I couldn't give this CLSC a higher rating because I really liked the doctor, I believe they were a doctor because they identified themselves as one, and I was somewhat impressed with the new changes implemented by the government.
