I'd like to highlight the incredible work of a nurse named Stéphanie at the Varennes CLSC. My son and I had an appointment with her yesterday for his 18-month vaccinations and his ABCs book. She spent almost two hours with us instead of the scheduled one, was very knowledgeable on many topics, and proactively asked about our needs, such as whether we had enough food on the table, if money was tight at the end of the month, how I was managing my anxiety, and so on. She was patient, incredibly kind, and even helped me clean up the mess my toddler had made in the room. nnI hope you all have the chance to meet a nurse like her at least once in your life. If all nurses were like her, our healthcare system would be a thousand times better!
The government service assigned me this CLSC for a family doctor.nMy opinion is solely about the doctors.nThis is the second time I've changed doctors due to retirement.nMy first doctor didn't work much, often on vacation and sick leave.nThe second one, just one word to describe her:nUtterly jaded...nIf you have a chance, avoid this CLSC in Varennes.
After so many years, I'd never had any problems. Today, the person answering calls at the appointment center had such an arrogant attitude that she didn't seem to care why people got angry or hung up on her. She didn't listen to the patient. The best part is, I found out at reception that it wasn't the first time and that other patients had filled out complaint forms the same day. Oh, what a coincidence! Good luck in the future, because your customer service needs improvement.

Unprofessional!nThe person hung up on me... I was asking for information to make an appointment for my daughters. She asked me to be polite... she was rude and refused to give me an appointment.
