I just wanted to share what an awesome experience it was working with Clinton Home Center, there sales staff was very professional & knowledgeable on what product would preform best for me in my circumstances. Also the installers where top notch. I love my new flooring and would recommend Clinton Home Center to anyone out there.

By far the worst experience I have ever had hiring anyone. There was a host of issues. The last was that when they finally got an installer out to my house, I told him the materials for the trim were in the garage and they had not bothered to update his work order to install it and he was not qualified to do the job if they had. 3 hrs. after finding this out I had to contact the company as they had not contacted me and was told they can't do it and to get a contractor. When I asked for compensation of this even longer delay (as it was an additional 6 days of not having a bathroom on top of the delay because they had to change the date when their installer quit) I was told the only thing they could do was send out the guy who was not qualified to do the job to do it. I asked to speak to the manager who stated that and she was "busy." I asked for someone besides my sales rep (who is the one who said they could install it all and gave me the wrong terminology...see later) they STILL had her call me back after "talking to the manager." After quite a hassle, I finally was allowed to talk to a manager and she said I was told it was my own fault because the sales person was confused because I used the wrong terminology (terminology that I got from the sales person). I asked if that was the case why she didn't clarify what I meant when I asked for the same thing to be installed twice I was told that "customers say things like that all the time." After determining that my terminology had been incorrect, the manager (with the owner with her and even on speaker phone at one point) would not let me complete an entire sentence without interrupting. Even at the end when I asked to summarize the situation and why they felt I should not be compensated she would not let me summarize because she wasn't going to "beat a dead horse." Had other issues that you overlook as mildly irritating as well. Once the manager was able to come up with a reason she felt was valid for not fixing their mistake she became the most rude business person I have ever encountered.
