Clinique Dentaire Saint-Charles

This clinic has a lot of appointment times even morning and weekends and my children loved their dental hygienists and dentist. However, the work of signing up for this clinic filling out new forms, transferring files was wasted: A week before our 2nd appointment, the clinic called and said they no longer accepted Sun Life paid insurance coverage. It was a bit shocking, as insurance coverage gaps isn't really common in Quebec. The receptionist wouldn't tell me why either, just let me know that I either had to pay for the appointment or cancel & find a new dentist.

Excellent and efficient service. I called due to an emergency and they were able to set an appointment the same day. Received excellent treatment. They explained everything clearly before they did anything - cost, insurance, procedure etc..,Dr. Toka Z was dedicated to ensuring everything went well, even after the procedure. Very highly recommended.

My nephew Tyler went to see specialist Dr Arcache recently because he has been living with severe pain/pressure in his temples and jaw for months. He’s already seen two doctors,two dentists, and now the specialist. The Specialist doctor was rude to my nephew, and he came home in tears, extremely depressed. He suffers from a form of AUTISM and severe PTSD. The doctor found out either that he was on social financial assistance, or because he is gay, and treated him absolutely horribly. My nephew doesn’t lie and is always super polite. He’s the most caring and respectful person I have ever known. He is very special and sensitive because of his AUTISM! He lost his parents also by the age of 5-6 years old , and wasn’t taken care of properly by his physically abusive adoptive family.nThis doctor Arcache was Rolling his eyes at mynNephew, kept cutting him off,not letting him explain the different pains he has. Tyler told me this doctor was exhaling in frustration when Tyler tried to explain different areas of pain and got extremely angry since he didn’t bring in his denture with him. He cut him off every time he tried to speak,and was very rude and unprofessional. Tyler tried to tell him that he has already been diagnosed with TMJ, but he wouldn’t let him speak about it! He judged him for being so young at 37 and having a denture. Which hurt my nephew a lot. Then, he made him repeat his age 3 times while scolding him how young he was to have a denture. Also, to now be diagnosed with arthritis in the jaw joint. With two diagnoses now, all he said was to start wearing his denture at night and come back in 3 weeks. Dr. Arcache also accused my nephew of doing drugs and then also, for drinking alcohol. He replied no to each. He doesn’t use drugs and hasn’t had even one drink in 5+years. Then asked AGAIN about drugs/alcohal and gave him a look of disbelief.Tyler is so stressed now because there’s no other specialist close to where we live,covered by RAMQ. So he waited almost 2 months for this apointment, only to be judged, completely discriminated against, treated disrespectfully, and offered no solution, even with two diagnoses! Not everyone on mental disability can afford everything in life, and that’s why Tyler had his dentures completely covered by his financial assistance program. The Autism, and the PTSD he suffers, from being physically and mentally abused by his adoptive parents for 12 years of his childhood, makes him very sensitive. He’s sensitive, but even a regular person would of felt how disrespectful , uncaring and rude this doctor was. ZERO COMPASSION.nnTyler really loves all the assistants, secretaries and other doctors at this clinic, but this one in particular was acting like my nephew was worthless, and judged him just because he’s young to have a denture and arthritis. Ridiculous! How is arthritis ANYONES FAULT?! Tyler has no choice to go back and see this doctor on the 17th Dec. and is scared!! But this time I will be waiting there to make sure he gets treated like other patients! If not I will be making a serious complaint to whoever his boss is 100%!! Nobody deserves to be treated this way after suffering so much for almost 3 months! It’s on this clinics website that they treat everyone with curtesy, respect, compassion, and that they LISTEN to the patient.nThe therapy to help arthritis and TMJ is Botox injections, but instead , wants him to wear his dentures at night for 3 weeks. Arthritis doesn’t just go away, and his TMJ problems are ruining his life! He is in pain everyday since about 10 weeks. No pills seems to give much relief. It’s disgusting that a doctor can treat someone like this just for the way they look, or because of how their mouth looks, or because they are on financially disability assistance!nn*** I highly recommend this clinic to anyone because Tyler has said everyone else at the clinic was super helpful , experienced, polite and compassionate! And that he had wonderful experiences there every time ,except with this specialist Dr Arcache.nThank you for your attention to this!

300$-500$ for a simple cleaning? Receptionist mentions the price can vary depending on if you brush your teeth everyday and depends on how long it takes to clean. In my opinion, a standard cleaning always takes 1 h, more or less. Seems to be more of a way to make money and confuse patients. This is the first clinique that was not able to give me reasonable fixed price.

Very good clinic in general, GREAT DENTIST clean, friendly staff exct. Went multiple times with my family, thought that they were a bit pushy on the appointments… Little too pushy, that I had to threaten them to not schedule me again. Until I decided to get an appointment myself. But GOD I didn’t know it was so bad that even SUNLIFE KICKED Y’ALL OUT FOR FRAUDULENT or ABUSIVE BILLING PRACTICES It’s just a never ending story with dental clinics , America America America just got the email bey bey my favourite dentist
