Was nice to see. Hadn't been there in years. Semi good view. Lots of trees in the way of the city view. Had a good time.
Cliff park is a neat little urban hideaway. It’s high above the city and the grass is lush and soft. It’s the perfect place for a picnic with loved ones. The tall pines make it a great place to pretend your not in the city but they do also hide the view a little.
I started going there more than a decade ago with my shih tzu and we still love it. At some point in time the stairs were re-done if that's the route you wanna go up. There are all sorts of pathways that circle the hill and intersect each other and are also kinda covered overhead with vegetation which gives the effect of "secret pathways" for the youngsters of the family. A waist high rock wall encircles the entire top.
Quiet small park. Great for meditation and there is a beautiful view of the city from the top of the stairs.
The stairs to the top are barred for no explained reason. The paths aren't plainly laid out. Couldn't find picnic area. And my kid moaned about lack of playground. Nice area, inadequate facilities.
Very Beautiful and Quiet place. I love the Junior Disc Golf Course, great for beginners!! All the small trails around this small park makes it seem much bigger.
This small park actually has a lot more to offer than meets the eye. I saw three practice disc golf holes and a neat stair case that leads to an "upper" park where activities such as yoga can take place in a pretty cool environment.
Poorly maintained and can't walk the path to the top of the structure any longer
Beautiful place with good stairs to get to the top.
This is such a Beautifully designed small cliff plateau, the masonry work all around the edge at the top is simple and genius. The city of Spokane did great in adding two sets of stairsways leading up to it. I saw a lady reading a book at the very top and she seemed so at peace, and it was just such a great place to feel like you're within the city but in a small fortified natural area high above it all. The homes around it are also very picturesque and architecturally Beautiful! You may see trash from the homeless or from kids on one side of the cliff but that just means you have to find the opposite side of that, where the stairs are. It's worth the pleasant drive up south hill during the spring and summer, I'd like to see it during winter.
