A popular park with breath taking views of dam, woods and mountain! Plenty of picinic area, parking, and hiking trails. Public bathroom and easy access. Highly recommend!
Amazing park located in North Vancouver, picnic area, family friendly, fascinating views of North Shore Mountains and Cleveland Dam, Free parking.
Beautiful wide open park surrounded by nature. There are several benches to sit on, but the grass is so green and vibrate I would rather have a picnic on the grass!
Wonderful place to getaway, get some fresh air and spend a day. Must go on a sunny day. Wherever you see, it is like a picture from a jigsaw puzzle.
A pleasant park and environment where you can enjoy a beautiful and fantastic scenery of the lake and mountains, especially at sunset. During the day time, the picture of the mountains get reflected on the lake surface which is truly breathtaking. The spot is sometimes chosen for wedding photography, as I have seen couples on their big day taking photos here.nYou can take a short path above the dam and take a look down the dam –if you dare :D, since the river is far down below and it might be scary if you develop Acrophobia- till you reach the forest. There you can find a beautiful trail as well, that you can hike if you are fine with the slopes of course, since it gets really steep at some points. There are plenty of benches you can sit on and relax for a while. The parking lot is free of charge and there is no time limit for that. Regarding the forest trails, you’d better be extra careful with bears and cougars depending on the season though. In my point of view, do not take the hike on your own. It might be a better idea to go in group.
