I recently visited Cleveland Dam in Capilano and was impressed by the beauty of the surroundings. No matter the season, Cleveland Dam has a good vibe that is sure to impress any nature lover. In the fall, the colors of the leaves on the trees are breathtaking, while in the winter, the snow-covered landscape is enchanting. One of the most impressive features of the dam is the massive flow of water, which is both calming and awe-inspiring. It's a great spot for photography or for a peaceful walk in nature. I also appreciated the walking trails, which were well maintained and provided a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Overall, Cleveland Dam is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to connect with nature and enjoy some peace and quiet. Whether you're going for a romantic walk or a family outing, there's something for everyone at Cleveland Dam.
A simple and beautiful trail to take. There's a free parking space with a great area for picnics. The road leads you across the dam and into a forested area full of well maintained trails. The view over the dam is amazing both ways.
Beautiful location with trails into and around the woods. There is a fair amount of parking available in front of the reservoir. The sheer amount of gorgeous snow makes for a breathtaking scene at this time of year! Situated at the foot of Grouse Mountain this is one of my favourite places to visit...at any time of year.
Amazing. Holds the water in the lake like a hot dam. Some decent views are to be seen over the walls through the fence, but for short people it can be slightly disappointing as they have a hard time seeing anything. Recommend bringing stilts, or a step stool for the best experience.
Beautiful place to visit! You can have a relatively easy and calming walk in nature with amazing scenery. It does get pretty cold so I recommend taking a jacket
Beautiful location for day trips. Lots of trails and view points. Limited parking so not very crowded. Public washrooms, picnic tables and huge lawn to spend a day with nature …. Trail for unleashed dogs … wonderful hiking in the woods on sunny day..

It's a beautiful place with a very unique scenery to the Dam . It has also a trail which I have not gone there yet . It also has an open area for sitting and having a day out but that doesn't have any view to water or Dam.
Must See !! One of the most scenic places that I’ve ever seen. Perfect for taking profile pictures or memorable pictures with your beloved ones. In my opinion The look-off is at the start point of Capilano Trail where you can see the dam reservoir and all those beautiful mountains and forests in the background.
