We arrived there in the evening on Sept 9th after a long day of travel. The gates were locked. We found out from one of the neighbors that all Manitoba Provincial Campgrounds are closed after the September long Weekend. In the AMA travel book it indicates that all provincial campgrounds are open until Sept 15. Not sure who is at fault, but this should be corrected. It would have been easy to leave a few sites open without a lot of trouble....Not a happy camper!

Beautiful beautiful beautiful water! Camped there all week a couple weeks ago and it was fairly quiet except the first night. Pioneer Bay has a little snack shop as well. And a park for kiddies. Sunsets are amazing and water is just soooooo clear!

Great deep lake for fishing, relaxing or some of the best locations for your professional looking photography. Clear water indeed!

This is probably the nicest set of beaches I've ever seen. The lake is crystal clear everywhere, and there's even limestone crevasses to explore. World class.

Went to the caves. Beautiful and fun area to explore. Kept very clean and paths are easy to follow.
