I took a suede coat in to have a new zipper put in. I was quoted $24. I picked it up, only the whole seams were not tucked and sewed in at all. There were holes that were not there before. Threads from the other zipper were still hanging in the coat. I took it back. They fixed the seams next to zippers better, but they were still not great. I was not taking it back a third time. Beware!
We had a quick and peaceful experience here today! I had to bring my two kids ages 6 & 8 to do our laundry from the last two weeks. We are a family of 5 with and off-grid trailer just across the lake in Quebec. We’ve owned the property for a few years but decided to be brave and spend 6 weeks here—our permanent home is in southern Ontario. My husband went home to work for two weeks and we are entertaining friends here next week. The two littles and I spent the day in town doing all our laundry and bedding and shopping for our guests. I will note that there are a lot of machines out of order, but there are still plenty of machines that work. The ladies in the dry cleaning section who gave us the change were very nice. The others in the laundry mat who I assume were local were quick to point out which machines worked best and were kind and sympathetic to my situation. There were a few machines that weren’t working correctly for other patrons and the staff was quick to place an out of order sign on said machines. I found the pricing on the washers and dryers extremely affordable as well. Additional signage on what machines take what change would be helpful. It looks like there were stickers on them at some point that have rubbed off. Everything is loonies and quarters. I bought a roll of each and still had some change leftover—which isn’t bad for 9 loads. The dryers are nice and big and very efficient. You can put multiple loads in the dryers and everything was dry in about 30-40 minutes towels took a bit longer. I would go back for sure!
Went May 26 2021: Did not do any drycleaning only laundry there. Girl at the desk was friendly to buy change for the machines, there were more the than half of washers and dryers out of order. There are are lots of both, very disappointed in the place couldn't go to my usual favourite spot in Kirkland Lake they were not open that day due to some problems in their store. Heard so much about Clean Scene on the radio so I thought it would be this great well run place to do laundry. I was sadly disappointed the dryers dried my clothes pretty fast once I got a dryer a couple of the dryers were so hot some of my clothes smelled burnt. Just keep an eye on the dryers and don't touch the drum very hot. Won't go there again! Maybe their dry cleaning is awesome but the laundromat sucks! Get those machines fixed maybe they wash horse blankets in them I dont know.
First time at laundromat to wash an oversized comforter. The rug on the floor was disgustingly filthy. Half the washing machines and dryers are out of order. The premises and all equipment could use a thorough cleaning. I wouldn’t walk into any other business that was this filthy and the owner shouldn’t expect the paying clients to put up with this. Clean Scene is not an appropriate name. I would be embarrassed to be the proprietor.
I'm a commercial customer; Clean Scene provides, launders, and presses the bed linens and towels for our lodge. Clean Scene does a great job with our laundry, and their customer service is remarkable. Darcy president of CS has always been very helpful and extremely pleasant to interact with. It's a relief to know that any questions you have will be answered with knowledge, patience, and good humour!
This place is a gem! . Under unfortunate circumstances my mother in law passed away and we didn’t have time to dry clean our outfits when we left Toronto in a hurry. On a long weekend Clean Scene pulled through for us and for that we are forever grateful! Thank you so much!!
The place is terrible Everything's always broken And the employees use the publicWashing machines and dryers to cleanTheir customers clothes so clothes washing machines that do work are all full. I would give it -2 stars if I could

Absolutely fantasti! Couldn't have asked for quicker and kinder service.
Drycleaning service is great but there are to many machines out of order in the laundromat.
