Clark's Tax Services

My boyfriend and I had filed our taxes through Clark's in 2015 for the 2014 tax year, it was fine. However, now they have merged with another tax company, and nobody who used to work there works there. It is now a gentleman, and a young kid (probably 18-21). When we arrived, we were in the waiting chairs and there was a woman next to us who was telling the gentlemen who's the "president" I guess that they messed her taxes up, said they claimed her son when she told them specifically not to. Then, while we were waiting another lady comes in and tells them they messed her tax form up, her husband's, and someone else she knows. The two guys who worked there also told us they would be collecting our information and then having us wait in the lobby while they did our taxes and would call us back if they had any "questions.." WHAT?! They also sent out a letter in the mail saying they would be honoring previous customers' prices, but then wanted us to sign a sheet of paper agreeing to a blank dollar amount, which we declined, and proceeded to tell us it was going to be $65 more than last year for me, and $90 more for my boyfriend. Needless to say, we got up and left. They were a joke. I never do this, but it was awful. I hope people will see this and avoid going there, I do not wish anybody to get caught up in whatever non-sense these two guys are up to. Also, not to mention the young kid just kept looking at us while looking over our information, and saying "sorry I'm just trying to think." I don't remember the young gentleman's name, I think maybe Chris. Older guy's name was Timo....?

The stories these other people posted are very true and accurate the guy did the same thing with me the lady messed up my taxes and then they try to charge me more money for my tax return . I miss the old owner..the new owner is a complete money hungry no it all without the knowledge .

I had my taxes done there last year, 2015 for 2014, and all was fine. 2016 for 2015, I had them done again. New owner this year.. I filed a fraud form -- very troubling. I think, Mitchel, the 5 star guy, works there.
