Story

Claddagh Irish Pub brings the best of Ireland to American guests, serving modern twists on the finest traditional cuisine paired with perfect pints of beer in an authentic and friendly setting.

The Claddagh represents a community in which friends and neighbors come together to enjoy food and drink and socialize, which is in the tradition of the pubs or “public houses” in Ireland that serve as town gathering places.

The hallmark of the restaurants’ public house environment is the “craic” (pronounced “crack”)—meaning a fun, friendly, and exuberant atmosphere.

I Selected the Claddagh to host my wedding reception because I love this place. I use to go to the one in Lansing and I am so happy that they have one on this side of the state. My husband and I come to the claddagh for dinner all the time and never had a bad experience. I was happy to find out they host events, The staff including the management was AMAZING! They are so helpful to make your event the best ever. Their support made my guest have a great time during our wedding reception. the food was on point! So many of my guest have never been to the claddagh and they were impressed with the food, the staff and they building. Having family members that are from Ireland felt like they were back home. I can't express enough how the staff was ready to jump in and help. The two ladies took time to get to know my guest and greeted them by name. This impressed my family how these ladies took care of them all and was on time with all request. What ever the management team is doing, they are doing it correctly. I can't wait to come back with my new husband and have a meal as husband and wife. Thanks Claddagh! and all the staff memebers for being awesome. Thanks for making my wedding receptions perfect.
I’ve been coming her for a long time and never had a bad experience. They have good food and the Guinness is poured perfectly every time! They know how to layer my Black and Tan. On Tuesdays half off apps and $3 pints all night. My favs are the fish and chips, the legendary Monte Cristo, spinach and artichoke dip, loaded pub fries, corned beef and cabbage rolls and fried pickles.
Ate dinner here on a very slow Tuesday. The service was sloooooow. The atmosphere was nice like an Irish pub. The sauce for the gaelic chicken was very tasty but the chicken was dry and stringy amd the brocolli and cauliflower was overcooked mush and seemed from frozen. It took so long that my colleagues got their second beers comped but since i only got one didnt get any compensation for the huge delay. Wouldn't come back again.
I've been coming here for a long time and love this place. This last time was ok. The service was good but the food lacked flavor this time around. I always get the meat loaf or the Monty sandwich. I'll update when I go again but overall it's a great place.
I am always looking for a place to get Scotch eggs and they do not disappoint. As you can see from the picture they are still slightly runny in the middle, which adds to the flavor. I stopped there on Monday which is the day they offer BOGO on their fish and chips. The picture shows you how generous the serving size is and it was not very greasy. Only downside was that the coleslaw ran into the fries so some of them got soggy. I will definitely be back for more Scotch eggs and more of their traditional Irish fare.
Amy was great at the bar tonight! She was very attentive to my needs and asked a couple times if my food was done the way I asked. Always great customer service when I'm here and the food is phenomenal!!!
It has a wide selection of beer and the fish and chips are my favorite here. There's lots of options and everything is so good.
Love this place! Food & staff was awesome! I love the Monte Cristo and my favorite drink is the black velvetine Guinness & Angry Orchard.
It was okay. Some of the seats had the leather peeling off them as I'm guessing they were very old. Our table was very wobbly, but we switched tables, so it wasn't that inconvenient. The food was okay, but not bad either. The bathrooms were kind of dirty. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. It was also very dark and my parents had a hard time reading the menus. EDIT: Apparently, someone at the restaurant amended our tip to 50% without us knowing and tried to get away with it. Thankfully, our credit card provider called us and asked us if this was correct no, it was not. We will never visit this establishment again as we don't give business to dishonest thieves and I would encourage you all to do the same. EDIT #2: The owner reached out to me yesterday and they sound like they are taking this seriously. I have amended my review.
Great private room for 20 people. A nice quiet way to enjoy your meal and conversations with family or friends. A good attentive wait staff that will get your requests correct. Decent prices and food choices; served hot and delicious. No rush. No loud music. OK to bring in your birthday cake. We had a great Father's Day/ birthday party. We will return. Tip included in bill; ok to add to it.
