We Hired CJM to replace an electrical panel, pig tail some outlets and switches and do do a general inspection to make sure a house we were purchasing was safe. 4 years later when we sold the house and the buyers requested an esa inspection we learned that they had never taken a permit out for the work he did. Esa was alarmed and arranged to inspect the work. CJM came to do some of the work they were supposed to do initially...ie do the pig tails and some additional work to the panel. The inspector came as the were working on it and approved the work he looked at. They immediately stopped adding the pigtails they were doing and left saying they were done. When the complete inspection was done we were left with another $1500 dollars of work to do. When I asked CJM about it he said the reference on our receipt saying "make sure all electrical is safe and proper" only referred to the panel change and pig tails. We hired Home-Pro Electric to do the work and couldn't have been happier. ESA approved their work without a hitch and they were friendly and courteous.
