I genuinely love this library. Great space to spend time with kids. It is clean, bright and so modern. The kid's area is absolutely amazing. It's got lots of different toys and plenty of room to play.nnJust love it
Wonderful spot to work, read or attend meetings. I enjoyed spending a day in between my showings working from the library and will definitely go there again. Staff is very helpful and friendly which is the cherry on top.
Good place to study and read. Lots of programming for the community and all ages.nnTry to avoid weekends unless you are high school student studying for exams. Tables are reserved for you
It is such an amazing environment, so appeasing and rejuvenating especially on a cold yet bright day as it is a modern structure with so much of natural light. There are ample spaces for study groups, the number of books have considerably gone up over the few years I have been visiting this library as well. The staff is just amazing. It has great printing facilities as well including 3D printers.
Extremely impatient staff. I arrived 15 minutes before close with intention to take out afew quick bedtime books for my son and leave. They started rushing people out 10 mins before close. Understandable, but as 3 people harshly reminded me to leave it gave me anxiety. As I was out at the front checking out my son’s books 5:59pm - closes at 6pm my 5 year old really had to go to the bathroom bad, so I said ok since it was near the front entrance. I finished checking out my son’s books and stood in front of the bathroom. A lady working there was walking towards me saying I have to get out now, the library is closed. I told her my son was in the bathroom and if that was ok. She gave me attitude telling me not really. This made me angry, especially since I have a small child that only needed to use the bathroom. Another male staff member proceeded to come and wait in front of the bathroom door for my son to exit . I told him they were a little much with this. He said well we’re closed. I checked the time and it was exactly 6:02. They were treating me like I was in there 20 minutes past closing time. I really do understand, I used to work in customer service where people would come in 5 minutes before closed and spend an unreasonable amount of time looking for their items and cashing out well past close. I understand everyone wants to go home. But if I am at the front with my books already checked out, waiting for my small child in front of the bathroom, I would’ve hoped especially for a library that there would have been more understanding and less impatience. Other than this event, this library is great with many helpful and kind daytime staff. We have been coming here for years.
