"Recent upgrades have made The Access Communications Centre arena a premier hockey facility! The Access Communications Centre is home to the Battlefords North Stars of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. The 200’ x 85’ ice surface is open from August until April and is surrounded by 8’ seamless glass. The Access Communications Centre has a capacity for 2500 spectators.In the off season, the Access Communications Centre is utilized for local events such as the Kinsmen Indoor Rodeo, Pow Wows, the Shrine Circus and many other events such as concerts and dances. The Access Communications Centre also has an upper auditorium which is used for small banquets and functions."

this place has a very nostalgic feeling very 1960s. when you walk through the doors you will see some retro Yale door closers and other fixtures from that era I also love the painted wooden benches.this place is irreplaceable and I do not want to see it replaced with a new facility. I was sentimentally attached to the old kinsmen swimming pool and it broke my heart when it was torn down and I love this place equally as much. this place has a unique feel that you will never forget I went to the rodeo all three days and enjoyed it very much I will describe for you the experience you walk in the front door buy your ticket and walk through another door and and then you hand your ticket and get a stamp on your hand and then you walk into the main arena and walk up to get to you seat and watch the rodeo it is very fun. every nostalgic thing builds the experience if you do not like hard seats then bring your own cushion but there are many that love those old benches I am planing on going to the rodeo next year because I love this place.
My kids and I went skating there during public skating there were tiny bumps all over the ice almost like it got rained on then froze so it made it difficult to skate on
Not well taken care of while an event is going on bathrooms were a mess floors were messy everywhere wasn't all bad is a good looking building just not good evening for indoor rodeo
Good facility but at the beginning of the curling smelled of diesel exhaust. I suspect their shipping area is too close to their fresh air intake and this should be addressed. Friendly staff
We were at the park by the civic centre with my grandchildren and we needed to go to the bathroom and there were absolutely no bathrooms available at all....Everything was all locked up.
I love this place, nice big arena for hockey games or any special events, nice and roomy!
A little smelly near the dressing rooms but it is a hockey rink lol. Good food.
Enjoyed hockey game. Beer service in lounge and nice concession for pop fries with gravy as well as hot dogs burgers
The old barn still has a lot of great hockey coming out of her!
Good barn. Great hockey. Only thing it needs a seat upgrade.
