City hall. It’s a building. Nothing special. We were her for the 10th Annual Turkey Giveaway Pontiac City Hall 2022 Very cold event. Had to stand in 22 degree cold weather. Free turkey.
Paid my taxes, staff was polite and very nice. Great view from there.
the panhandling problem could be easily fixed. getting fines from these beggers wont happen. if they get caught panhandling in pontiac give them 8 hours community service at the humane society on featherstone blvd. get caught again double the service and so forth soon or later they will get the hint and move on.

I have lived in Pontiac 50 years. I can not get anyone in the public works Dept. to call back about the rotted tree in their easement. The storm 7/20/21 took our half the tree and landed on our cars and through the neighbor roof. Also reached out to our council person Mary Pitelia ,is just use less. No response from anyone. Very Disgusted
Nice place to live, sadly the populous is less and less inviting with each new generation of "gangsters" though.
The city doesn't help the people they just want money. The officials and office personnel are rude and disrespectful. They are just making things harder for the city to heal because they just want to line their own pockets. Serve and protect! Ha, what a joke! The system is set up to make the working people fail and the leeches to continue sucking blood.
My boyfriend responded to a piece of mail we received about our lot we purchased in Pontiac. When he called to resolve that he spoke to Donovan ,Patrick and finally Daniel! He totally discriminated our rights he basically told us to find a different neighborhood to move to .hHe also stated how much we bought the property for. He even was saying how much he thought it would be for us to build a house . He doesn't know anything about modern homes or container homes! Thank goodness my boyfriend recorded the whole conversation. I'm going to call the news! He has no idea how much money we have in the bank. He sure acted like he knew. Code 302.8. Boy did these three guys mess up..big time!!..
My son was robbed at gunpoint skateboarding in downtown Pontiac. His friend was able to take a picture of the 3 perps and give to the Deputy's when they showed up. A deputy named Garrett said he knew who they were ,but to this day year later , nothing has ever been done. Serve and Protect? What a JOKE!!!
