Tried to get an appointment online to renew my passport. Couldn't manage the web site so I called. They gave me no help, couldn't book my appointment, asked me no questions, gave me no general information... nothing! Believe me, use the Washington County office in Hillsboro. Guy walked me through everything, booked my appointment the same day, checked my status and forms, was very cordial.
Why does it even exist. It's empty. It's a huge new fancy modern building filled with government corruption . Unless if course your in their hand.
Very helpful and polite... Came in for a passport. Easy to find.. They do close between 12-1pm for their lunch hour...
Super great experience having passport application processed here. Everything was easy and everyone on staff was super nice.
We were in and out in 5 minutes. We got here at 8am thinking we will start getting in line and wait for them to open at 8:30am. But we had everything done by 8:05am. Kids are 3 and 6. They were sitting at the window looking through the whole process. At the end of it, the gentleman told us the passports will arrive in 4-6 weeks and we are all done. Kids were like "What? We are done?" This is how fast it was completed. It's the first day of spring break. It seems like they knew more people would come, so they opened early. We checked online and made sure we have all documents ready to apply for passports for kids. It's a lot of things to check off, but all information is there. One thing I would like to add: Most people have to work, so mom and dad take two cars and arrive at different times. They will check you in only if you have ALL parties and ALL documents present. Don't assume that you can send dad there to hold the line or take a number. We saw a dad got there early but had to wait for others to show up. Overall, we had a good experience at this location. They are very efficient if you have all required documents ready.
Showed up at 8:45 to get passports for family. All 30 appointments for the day had been taken. They only have 1 person processing passports. People had to show up at 8 am in person to get an appointment for later in the day. Bad system. Drove to Hillsboro and done by 10 am. They had 3 people processing who were all friendly and efficient.
Passport Hours are posted as open until 330. We arrived at 2pm. We were told that they are not taking anymore applications as they had already processed their quota. Quota? Why post office hours? Gave them one star due to the fact that they opened their doors until 330.
Our city council is the worst, some of our utility bills are going up nearly 10%. We are paying extremely high property taxes and Beaverton is getting less affordable every year. Why do we even have a city council? We’d be better off without them. Very disappointed.
Imagine my surprise when I opened my NW Natural gas bill to find a 2% Beaverton Franchise Fee that has been added to my bill. So I called the City of Beaverton Finance Dept., spoke with Dave. Turns out that the City Council voted this fee/tax into our laps without so much as a 'by your leave'. WAKE UP PEOPLE-------THIS IS TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION.
Went in to get a passport around 8:15 on a Wednesday and was done in less than 10 minutes
