Great place! Bowling was fun even though a bit pricey, staff was polite and helpful, food pretty good. Thank you!
Been here several times, enjoyed the food and generally had a good time. No more. Service was awful. Kid at the desk seriously seemed like he was deaf and tranquilized. Speak to him and he stares blankly back at you. For a L...O....N...G... Time. Lanes malfunction, speak to him again. He stares blankly until I finally walk away. We finally just start our games over. Waitress? Nowhere to be found. Were they busy? Well it was full but I assume the expect to be full. No excuse for providing no service. Staff at the bar was great but actual server was a ghost. Atmosphere? A party or 2 going on which is fine, I've had kid parties here myself. However, my party was contained to the lanes we had rented. No such courtesy from the current group. Kind of sucks not having a table available with your lane. They eventually took mercy and consolidated so my group could sit/eat. Atmosphere part 2....why would you allow a group of 12+ to occupy 1 lane? That's what they did next to us. We were treated to an entire delegation of 3rd world ambassadors all bowling on a single lane and all crowding the space between the ball return and the foul line. Including in MY lane! They kept bowling with My ball! We couldn't even see our lane from our table with this mob hanging out. Fragrant people too! If you're charging $30/hour for a lane do me a favor and require the folks in adjacent lanes to limit the size of the party to maybe 4-6 per lane? I'd like to be able to actually use the lane I paid for.
I’ve been here multiple times for bowling and always have bad service once sitting down. Idk if it’s because we are young 20 year olds but a serve never comes and greets us. Today the serve went to the table next to us that came in after we did and then to the table behind us. Never came to us once in the 2 hrs we were there. I find it ridiculous if we have to go to the bar and ask to be waited on when clearly the servers come to the tables. Be a serve myself I know it’s difficult but it was not busy enough to neglect a table. Bowling’s fine but service is bad.
We decided to bypass all the chain restaurants in Okemos and try out city limits for lunch. Very glad we did! It wasn't terribly busy in the restaurant as it was snowy, with slippery roads and early lunch time. We were greeted & seated right away. One waitress brought our drinks & menus and let us know our waitress would be with us shortly. Alicia came quickly to take our order, our food was ready really fast. I ordered a pizza, but it turned our that the bowlers had ordered pizza and one of their ovens was down. I didn't want the others to wait, so we had them put the food in to cook and box mine up to go. I had seen that homemade potato chips were on the menu so I asked for an order of those to eat while the others ate. She was so kind she put that order in for me and the house covered it!. Daughter loved her chicken finger basket, hubby demolished his wet burrito and those homade potato chips with homemade ranch were killer! And when I ate my pizza that evening, that was delicious as well. I was glad we passed by those chain restaurants and went to city limits. It had been several years since we had been there, simply because we forget about it being there. Good food, great teamwork by staff, fair pricing! A+ for me!
Had a blast going here! The lanes were set up for glow bowling which is OK. It wasn't too onerous. Place was busy when we came in but the wait list system worked really well. We enjoyed a quick meal in the attached restaurant which was pretty top notch for a bowling alley - food was great! Plus, we weren't rushed onto our lane when it became available. They gave us ample time to enjoy or food and bowling. Had a good time and definately coming back.
My husband and I decided to go on a date and play a couple of games of bowling. It was our first time there and we really liked it. Staff was friendly and welcoming. They explained how the food was amazing and had the best bowling ally food around. They had drink specials and lots of food choices. Food came out in a decent time and was seasoned nicely. Temp could have been warmer but that did not change the fact that the food was pretty good. Our waitress Becca was really nice and attentive. We played a couple games while listening to the music and laughing. The music was modern and played at a nice level. I was surprised it was not busier. We definitely will be back!
Awesome place to have a lot of fun and a birthday party. Everyone can join in on the fun. You can rent multiples or just single lanes. Features: Did not require masks. Did cleaning as guest left.
ordered a turkey club grinder, got a club sandwich which has ham rather than bacon and texas t oaster rather than a grinder bun. i also ordered a italian grinder and they failed to put the lettuce and tomato on the sandwich. Called as soon as i got home with the food and they would not answer the phone. Left message but 20 minutes later no call back. this all happened between 745 pm and 8:20 pm. I'm not impressed and do not recommend anyone order from here. Last time i will buy from this establishment if it is not made right soon.
I took some seniors there recently and the staff on the bowling floor went above and beyond for our group and provided great customer service.
Lanes themselves are inconsistent in their oil patterns which makes bowling there on a regular basis in a league and such kind of irritating. The staff however are all pretty good people, the cooks make good food, the wait-staff are pretty on the ball. The person who runs the pro shop is my least favorite person as my experience in asking for his help resulted in him going "OH my God, give me the ball" In a very snakry tone as if he didn't want to do his job which leads me to believe if you're not his friend he would rather not help you. So all in all a decent place to bowl if you're just doing it for fun and you want some fairly delicious grub for a well rounded price, then this the place to go.
