It was our first visit to Cineplex Sherwood Park with the family. We pre-purchased our tickets online, but found the concessions to be quite slow as they only had one till open on an early Saturday evening. It's unfortunate that Cineplex doesn't offer free popcorn or pop refills like some of the other movie theatre chains do. There looks to be a fairly decent sized party room. The main areas and theatre were quite clean and comfortable, aside from the theatre getting quite warm during the movie. I ended up having to leave the movie to ask the staff if they could turn down the heat, which they did but it took some time to kick in. The kids had a lot of fun playing some games after the movie. The staff in the games area were very helpful and accommodating. We may return again in the future, but it's not our first choice of theatres.
Decided to go to the movies today June 17th for 7pm and it was disappointing. The concession line up was about 40 to 50 people deep. Turns out the theatre was under staffed. Also almost every bathroom stall in the men’s was completely out of toilet paper a nice surprise for anyone that doesn’t check the supply first. The garbages were also over flowing. It’s really sad to see that this is the experience you can expect. It’s a two star because the recliner seating was very comfortable.
Went and saw Deadpool wolverine in the 3-D D box theatre seats were so comfortable love to be able to recline. It was awesome experience definitely recommend it again.
The movie was Twisters and we sat in the D-Box seats for the 1st time. The experience was well worth it! The movements of the seats were really synchronized with the events in the movie, and there were lots of events !!nWell worth the increased ticket price !
Good theater, comfy recliner seats , over priced like all of them hence why alot are being closed across the country, lower the prices on tickets and venue sales is definitely required , cost 24 bucks for a rancid popcorn and a beer . If the prices were not so gouging alot more people would go ... I'll stick w the wait till it's on Netflix or prime attitude that most people have .
