Cineplex Cinemas in Saint John is a great spot for enjoying the latest movies. The theater is clean, well-maintained, and offers comfortable seating. The sound and picture quality are impressive, making for an enjoyable viewing experience. Staff are friendly and helpful, and concessions have a good variety of snacks. The only minor drawback is that popular showtimes can get crowded, but overall, it’s a solid choice for movie lovers.
Took my 4 year old to see the gabby dollhouse movie today, she had a great time! Once the movie ended I noticed her special gabby cup was missing the toy she dropped her cup during the movie & I didn’t think to look for the toy I went to the counter and asked if I could buy just the toy for her cup and explained the situation & the employee gave her the toy for free which I very much appreciated & didn’t expect at all! My only complaint would be the price of popcorn. I wish they had a smaller option for a single person. I ended up going with #1 which includes the large popcorn, large drink & candy. I definitely didn’t need that amount of popcorn for just myself but it was my best bet for the pricing there. Overall it was a great experience & my daughter left very happy.
We go here a lot. I’ve been to around 11–12 movies at this theatre in the last 9 months. Solid theatre overall. The popcorn’s great. It’s a standard Cineplex. The Fredericton location now has better seats with their recliners, so this location should definitely upgrade.
I'd love to watch a movie here, but honestly, some areas of the cinema station are quite smelly and itchy, especially the seat cushions. I hope they'll deep clean them soon so we can enjoy itch-free viewing! nnThe ticket prices are a steal, and the Tuesday cinema discount is the cherry on top! The staff is also top-notch, being very friendly and nice, and the food and arcade areas are a great bonus.
I wish I could like this place. I moved from Toronto where I frequented the many theatres around, but every time I have visited this location, the sound was unenjoyably loud. I get that seeing a movie at a theatre shouldn’t be a quiet experience, but the sound is so off for the size of the space. It is unlike any theatre I’ve been too and I’ve been to many!. I wish they could figure out the right sound balance.
