The screen in theatre #9 has two holes in it which creates two points of light all through the movie! Terribly distracting! Also charging $35 for 2 small popcorn and 2 small pop and a water is outrageous! Bathrooms are not in good shape either! This place needs a renovation badly! Maybe that’s why there were only 7 people in the theatre to watch a new release!
Did not spend 50$ on movie tickets alone to see a movie for the first time in 3 years only to sit through hearing a gang of chatty teens on one side and another family doing a running commentary of everything they saw on the other as if they thought themselves in a reaction video or commentary special feature. Ushers should be in the theater ensuring people who came to watch a movie can actually enjoy it. I miss the ads that reminded people to be courteous to others, too. The seats are small, the inclination is barely there so if somebody tall sits in front of you, you won't be able to see the screen. Theres also damage to screen in theater 2, on the far right hand side, about a quarter of the way up the screen. There's also no checking of online tickets unless you voluntarily walk up to somebody for them to check it, so I could have not paid money to go see the movie and just walked right in. Concession lines/set up are no good. Overall the entire location needs massive renovations desperately and should take their cues from Cineplex in Dieppe in terms of layout and appropriate incline for seating arrangements and options.
Not sure if this is only in New Brunswick but its not cool that Cineplex now have a booking fee of $6 when you purchase tickets online. Its waived if you join their CineClub for $10/mo. This is such a SCAM!!!
Surprisingly, it hasn't really changed since I was last there 18 years ago. I'm sure it has in some ways, but it still has the same feel, as does the Chapters and ToysRUs across from it. It still has the cheesy arcade which I love but the number of screens is still limited. Unfortunately, when I went there today, a couple of the big games were out of order. That said, not sure how active arcades were during COVID.
My friends and I went to see the 7:00pm Elvis show on Monday. I'm not one to ever make reviews but we were so unsatisfied. The guy at the front who checked tickets was extremely rude to my friend. She was abruptly stopped by his arm shooting out, saying in such a rude tone that she couldnt bring her Starbucks drink in. I totally get that there isnt allowed outside food in, no problem! But to almost hit her and store the cold drink in the desk until after the show... not to mention there was no one there to give her drink back by the end of the movie. We were standing in line to get popcorn. There were about 4 lines open, all of them full. By the time we got to the front of our lines the girl walked away. I went up to show that we were waiting and another girl came over and said "Sorry this till is closed." Like what? We just stood in the line for over 10 minutes watching other people get their orders, waiting to get our own food and you cant serve one more person? So we had to go stand in another line where the next girl couldnt manage to complete orders. The ladies in front of us kept coming back because they were forgetting items from their orders. It took us another 15 minutes to get our food, by this time also missing the previews to the movie. Now that we had our popcorn, all the butter machines were also broken. Yes, all 4 in the area were out of order, so we had to pay EXTRA for the butter that is 100% usually free. I get that machines malfunction but to HAVE to pay for extra when it's always free outside? If I'm paying for you to apply it just let me do it myself. Now besides all of this the movie was good and the temperature was perfect in the theater. I have never had an experience so stressful getting a bag of popcorn before...
After waiting 13 years to see Avatar in 3D on the big screen, we show up to find out the movie is cancelled. We had bought our tickets online days ago, but did not notify us of the cancellation. We wasted time and fuel to drive from the country to see the movie. When we purchased our tickets we cashed in some scene points, well when they "refunded it" they put it all on the scene points for some reason. Before they even confirmed if I had the card I used, it was already sent to scene points. There is about $20 I wont get back on top of the fuel money. They did give us free tickets to another showing, but why take the chance of driving in to find for some reason its not showing? Next up their call center! Its like if someone went to Wish to find one. Their communications gear is so horrible that they constantly cut out, sound like they are a million miles away and for some reason I can hear people yelling in the back ground. Twice we have called and we were to be transferred to a manager, both times the call was dropped. If I could review this place with a negative score I would. It appears to be that the company does not care about its customers or the experiences they have at the theaters. Interesting way to run things with the way streaming services are taking over.
Was a great place. Clean floors nice seats. Volume was a good level. Popcorn was delicious. Great place to spend an afternoon with the family.
Since indoor activities was the call of the day took in a movie at this theater. Somewhat dated but clean and modern with electronic ticketing. Food was good and served warm and fresh. Theater #9 where I viewed " The Nun" was clean, sound system is good and clear.
It was an OK experience in the theatre room. But the floor was not clean and popcorn was everywhere in the front counter area even before the movie started until after the movie finished!
Saw a 'cheap' movie on Tuesday, 45$ with a large popcorn. Theatre was barely 10% capacity.
