Great experience for the family.. took one of the kids here to watch a matinee. Was a great for us all. The concessions where surprisingly pretty clean, along woth the bathrooms. The staff isn't the most friendly, but what do you expect for kids these days. Atleast there heads arnt in the cell phone. clean building exterior, the self serve ticket option is super fast and convenient to use saves alot of time wjen purchasing tickets. Also love that there open pretty much everyday all year long
Review:nOverall, this theatre is pretty good. It's modern, recently renovated and now has an IMAX theatre which is long overdue and much appreciated.nnHowever, there are some issues with the IMAX currently. I've been to 2 movies since the IMAX theatre opened, and in both movies I've noticed an audio delay of about 0.6s. It's not a big deal, but it's noticeable and should be fixed by an audio engineer.nnThe seats are quite comfortable and soft, and the sight lines are excellent because of the stadium seating.nnUnfortunately, this theatre lacks major food options. It's all self-serve, which essentially means only popcorn, bagged candy, and a few other things are available. Nachos are available, but they are sitting in a warm heater for who knows how long which isn't very inviting. There are absolutely no pretzels, which has been a staple at any major theatre in North America for the last 30-40 years. This theatre REALLY needs to bring the pretzels back, especially considering the other Cineplex 15 minutes away offers them.nnIf this theatre had better food options, it would be close to perfect. Seems crazy they dropped the ball on that with the recent renovations. We saw Superman in the IMAX 3D. I am so impressed with everything. The seats were a decent size and very comfortable. They recline a bit which made for extra comfort during the movie. I think the sound quality was perfect and the video quality was better than I expected. The whole place was very clean including the bathrooms. Staff were friendly and attentive. I really enjoy going to this theater. I find the seats in all the theaters more comfortable than other places. I prefer this location when planning to see a movie.
Just watched Spider-Man at this theatre. Great experience - comfortable seats and staff were friendly. Online ticket ordering was smooth and no issues with the e-tickets. We all ordered concessions - the self serve concept was a bit hard to navigate. This would be ok if this was our home theatre and we were used to it. Small arcade area as well for the children although we didn’t participate in these.
The air in Theatre #4 smelled the moment I stepped in. At my seat, it smelled like mold or urine. I didn’t want my skin touching the seat. In between the seats, there was crumbs. I was there during the day so it wasn’t a busy time. Im very disappointed in this Cineplex location. The staff was nice and friendly though.
